Chapter 9 The Villainess Boss's New Darling is Also a Villainess?!
6:20pm
Li Nai spun his shoulder and pushed open the sliding wooden door, entering the staff room, which was originally a prison cell.
"You bastard, you took advantage of my absence and abused my body! You've exhausted me!"
She groaned and supported her aching back, still in her cleaning uniform, before collapsing onto the small bed just a few steps away, never wanting to get up again.
My mouth felt heavy, and I kept reminding myself, "I'm going to eat later."
My eyelids closed heavy and dull, and I slowly drifted into a dark dream.
The poorly soundproofed walls faintly emitted thumping dance music, frenzied laughter and shouts from humans, and the whirring of a classic slot machine.
These various noises blended into the dream, gradually being replaced by gunfire and the roars of zombies.
She saw her small, chubby hands resting on the glass railing. Looking down at her round belly, she saw a pair of unfamiliar female hands encircling it.
Who is holding me?
She tilted her head up to look at the person holding her. In the bright sunlight, the person was wearing a hood, so her features were not clearly visible. A sharp chin and a straight, pointed seagull nose were visible in the dark shadows, and the cold, hard lines of the person exuded a sense of indifference.
"Don't move."
The man gave a cold warning, though the woman's voice sounded very young.
Her small body shivered from the cold. She pulled her head back and secretly peeked out from the glass railing of the third-floor terrace, staring at the chaotic battle on the ground.
Humans fight humans, humans fight zombies, rivers of blood and mountains of corpses—it's utter chaos.
Where did all these zombies come from? Also, these armed humans, who seem to be fighting between two factions, have nothing to do with a regular army.
One group is at a disadvantage; they not only have to fight against humans, but also have to guard against zombie attacks.
The air was thick with the stench of blood. She turned her head, wrinkled her nose, and glanced randomly in a certain direction in the distance.
Amidst the chaotic and congested streets, a figure runs and leaps at incredible speed, with a clear objective. Despite being a human, there is no trace of him breathing heavily.
"They're here."
Suddenly, the girl above said something.
"Received." The phone microphone crackled with static.
They're here? What's here?
She looked around and saw the flying man descending like a divine warrior, waving a two-meter-long road sign in his hands. Neither bullets nor zombies could penetrate his defenses, leaving a bloody path beneath his feet, heading straight for their building.
His pupils contracted sharply as he stared at the woman standing nearby.
Isn't that me? Why did I come all this way?
She was in a daze for a moment.
Suddenly, the girl who was holding her said, "Now that the person has been attracted, you must protect my sister and get her out of here."
Suddenly, my body was lifted into the air, paused for a moment, and then plummeted downwards.
I flipped myself right in the air and saw a slender girl wearing a sports jacket and a hood standing by the glass railing.
The man turned around indifferently, his hat was blown off by the wind, and his long, silver-white ponytail was tossed lightly.
A voice sounded in his ear—[Congratulations, host, you have reached level 3 and can now unlock the main quest.]
"Utterly devoid of conscience!!!"
Li Nai let out a long roar, then suddenly opened his eyes and saw the familiar cell ceiling.
He placed his hand on his wildly beating heart.
The feeling of falling from the dream is still there.
His eyes widened in shock as the image of his fall replayed before his eyes. A face with long, slightly wavy, golden-brown hair appeared for a fleeting moment, followed by a group of zombie faces with gaping, bloody mouths.
Li Nai pulled the blanket over her face.
Those images spread and disappeared as quickly as a drop of ink in water.
After she got up and washed up, she couldn't recall anything from the dream.
Only that cool, high ponytail silhouette remains in my mind.
Half a month has passed, and Li Nai still can't remember how he entered Mishiko's territory. He can only recall it occasionally in his dreams, but he loses his memory again after waking up.
She remembered the first day of the outbreak, when she became a system and formed a host-system relationship with Mimi. She also remembered the night she was rescued by the rescue team, when survivors turned into zombies and attacked the entire camp. Then she possessed the host's body and was carried away with her head covered. After that, the truth was unclear.
An early morning ringtone sounded on my phone.
She checked her employees' phones; the screen showed 6:45.
Time to clock in for work.
Li Nai carried a bucket and a mop to the sink. Two of her older female colleagues were already occupying it.
They whispered and laughed, talking about the new, beautiful woman.
Colleague A: "I've lived for over forty years and I've never seen such a seductive woman. No wonder the big boss protected her last night, and those two troublemaking dancers were furious."
Colleague B: "I heard that the big boss brought that woman into his bedroom."
Colleague A: "Oh my, really? The big boss never allows anyone else to step into her room. Not even Aunt Hong and Uncle Liang."
Colleague B smiled mysteriously and leaned close to colleague A's ear, only to be startled by a head that had secretly slipped inside.
"Ah! That scared me to death. Li Nai, what are you doing!"
Li Nai squinted and chuckled, asking with a gossipy air, "Is that woman really that popular with the big boss?"
"Of course, the moment they entered the room, it was like a bolt of lightning striking the earth..."
"Ahem, you three have nothing better to do?!"
A man dressed as a manager appeared behind me, with a fat butt and a beer belly, and slicked-back bangs stuck to the top of his head.
□□Reason!
Li Nai rolled her eyes when she heard his voice.
Two older female colleagues had already washed the mop, but as soon as Manager Wang appeared, they grabbed the bucket and ran off, leaving Li Nai alone in front of the sink rinsing the mop.
Li Nai quickly washed the mop, picked up the empty bucket, and was about to slip away.
As Manager Wang passed by, the man simply watched her walk away without saying a word or making a move.
Normally, they would start yelling and cursing early in the morning.
Could it be that, thanks to the little host, Aunt Hong instructed him to take good care of me?
Li Nai left the water room with a strange feeling.
As I walked down the long, glass-covered corridor and passed the casino entrance, I heard a familiar sound of cursing coming from inside.
Li Nai stopped in her hurry, unable to resist her curiosity, and quietly walked back, hiding behind the door and wall to peek inside.
Two women and one man surrounded a woman who was sitting diagonally on a red carpet.
The woman had long, smooth, black hair like satin. Her wrists and elbows, which were neither too fat nor too thin, were white and shiny, with a slight pinkish tint to the skin.
Absolutely stunning skin and hair.
Once Li Nai took a liking to a woman, he could never leave her.
Until that arrogant, long-legged woman picked up the neatly arranged playing cards from the table and splashed them on the woman on the ground. Not content with just one deck, she threw all the other playing cards and trinkets from the other tables at the woman.
The woman lowered her head and weakly raised one arm to shield herself.
He was surrounded by colorful playing cards and dice.
Another voluptuous woman handed several bottles of drinks to the woman with long legs. They unscrewed the caps and recklessly splashed the drinks onto the woman's beautiful hair, deliberately messing up the tangled strands with their hands.
After finishing everything, he casually tossed the beverage bottle aside, leaving large and small dark water stains on the red carpet.
Li Nai:?
It took several hours to clean that carpet!
Li Nai was so angry that smoke was practically billowing from her head.
You stinky woman!
Not content with their disheveled state, they grabbed a few more bottles of drinks, twisted off the caps, and prepared to repeat their trick.
Thump! The bucket fell to the ground with a loud thud.
Li Nai could no longer tolerate it.
"You dare!!!"
The three of them turned to look at her at the same time.
Li Nai strode over, carrying mops in both hands, looking menacing, as if she were about to smash them all to death with a single, devastating swing.
They seemed stunned, their eyes wide with surprise.
"Li Nai?" The long-legged, voluptuous woman recognized her and then showed disdain.
"Is she Li Nai?"
The man who had been watching the whole thing from the sidelines crossed his arms and glanced sideways at Li Nai. "So ugly. Nothing special. I really don't know why the boss made an exception and let her in."
Li Nai glared at the other person, who was wearing a sexy short top, black leather pants that revealed his belly button, and looked like a showy male dancer.
"Yes, it can't compare to you, your heat is like a scorching fire that burns the ears and eyes."
"Sweet talk. I'm definitely hot." The flamboyant male dancer narcissistically stroked his abs.
Li Nai:?
"Hey, Li Nai, you want to help her? That's hurtful. We're just trying to prevent you from being relegated to the sidelines." The long-legged woman huffed angrily.
Li Nai: Nonsense, utter rubbish!
"A dog bites Lü Dongbin but doesn't recognize a kind heart," the plump woman chimed in.
"Whose dog bit someone?" Li Nai asked her angrily.
"I should thank you?" Li Nai laughed angrily.
"Of course. Come on, water her!"
One of the three bullies handed her an opened can of beverage.
Huh?! Trying to drag me down with you? Li Nai stared blankly at the beverage can.
The long-legged woman grabbed her hand in a hurry, pried open her four fingers and stuffed them into a beverage can, pushed her shoulder, and angrily pointed at the woman on the ground.
"Pour!"
Li Nai lowered her eyes and blinked. Just then, the woman raised her face, and the advertising model's beautiful hair slowly slid down her cheeks, revealing a face that looked pitiful and beautiful. Her bewitching fox eyes were wetly licking her face.
His throat bobbed violently.
She tilted her head back and gulped down her drink, the image of the villainous woman that popped up in front of her eyes closing as it left the woman's face.
"I have something to do, you guys go ahead. Thanks for the drinks."
Li Nai shook the beverage can in her hand.
My goodness, she's the number one villain, a supernatural killer, extremely ruthless and merciless. I was planning to consider her last, but she ended up appearing alongside number two.
These three Karami are doomed!
"Help me."
Um?
Looking down, she saw a pair of soft hands gently hugging her thighs.
She glanced at the woman's beautiful face, followed by a terrifying description that contrasted sharply with her own.
[...He was ruthless and unscrupulous in achieving his goals, often toying with and torturing people before killing them, and was extremely dedicated to his profession. For example, he once skinned a man alive, ensuring the man died in agony a week later. His methods were skillful and the timing precise, exactly seven days later.]
Hey! Does this have to be so formal, so professional?! Murder is illegal, and Number 1 is an antisocial monster!!

Li Nai felt a chill run down her spine, so she simply closed her eyes and desperately tried to pull her legs away from where they were being held.
"Li Nai!" The long-legged man stepped forward and questioned, "Do you really want to betray us for her?"
Sister, listen to what you're saying!
Li Nai turned his head, staring with a pair of bull-like eyes.
"You even glared at me because of her."
The long-legged man, feeling utterly wronged, grabbed her collar and shook her violently. "You bastard! You bastard!"
A thunderclap exploded above Li Nai's head.
Wait a minute, something's not right! Is this a case of rivalry and bullying turned into a melodramatic soap opera love triangle? Putting all that aside, the most important thing is, I'm just a nobody! When exactly did I get dragged into this?
One was holding her from below, the other was rocking her from above. Li Nai's body no longer belonged to her own.
Li Nai was extremely annoyed. With a wave of her hand, the long-legged woman suddenly screamed. She took two steps back, removed her hand from her face, and a piece of skin fell off, blood gushing out. Her chin, neck, and chest were all bright red.
"Li Nai! What are you doing?!"
The two long-legged companions pointed at Li Nai's hand in horror.
Li Nai looked back at her hand, where a thin, gleaming silver blade rested between her fingers.
She opened her mouth in disbelief.
Where did the razor blade come from?
