I found a wife, my family

I found a wife, my family

I don't know my name. The Cosmic Emperor didn't give me a title, and I don't think "Apostle" counts as a name. So I'll have to ask him myself.

"Great Emperor! Cosmic Emperor, please answer my call!"

I know he has been watching me all along; I am an apostle of the Cosmic Emperor, and I can feel it.

"What is it?" An ancient voice came from the brain module, and he did indeed respond to me.

"Sir, what is my name?"

“You are an apostle of my Cosmic Emperor, so of course you are called an apostle.”

"Isn't 'apostle' a title? It can't be used as a name."

"Hmm... you'll be called Apostle Number One."

"This is far too perfunctory."

"You have not yet passed my test and cannot receive the title bestowed upon you by me personally."

"So I'm supposed to be called the Apostle? That's not very distinctive."

"You are the only apostle on Earth now, so just call yourself an apostle."

"Alright, Your Majesty," I said dejectedly. The shockwave red lightbulb was still pointed at me, piquing my curiosity. "Do you know who Steel Fork is?"

"Telling you won't hurt. Your body was created by me using a Cybertronian's body as a base. Then I endowed you with a dark super-energy being as your soul, making you a creation of mine with a complete life, existing here. I saw in that Cybertronian's memories that its name was: 'Gunpowder'." Unicron's voice chuckled, continuing, "Not all Cybertronians are insects. Promules did create some interesting little things, which are just what I need."

"So, is 'steel fork' considered my relative?"

"No, it's the basic version. You're the Pro Max 2.0 upgrade."

It seemed that no one could hear my internal conversation with the Cosmic Emperor, so I repeated it to the large armored machine in front of me, saying, "So I'm not Grimfork, you've mistaken me for someone else."

The antenna next to the large red light bulb bounced up and down again, and his wings drooped low, looking really cute. The speaker on his neck vibrated, and he asked, "The connection between the sparks hasn't been severed. The spark belonging to Grimm is alive. She's not dead. Unicron's statement doesn't make sense. Where did Grimm go? I believe you are her."

I squinted through my optical glasses. Who do you think you are, daring to question the Emperor? You're not cute at all.

However, as a highly respected and rational apostle, I decided to tolerate his slight overstepping for the time being and asked, "Great Emperor of the Universe, where has the spark of the steel fork gone?"

"When I was about to crush it, I disappeared."

"What do you mean by 'disappearing'?" I repeated, word by word.

"It simply doesn't exist in the Fire Seed pod. When it encounters danger, it exiles its 'soul' to any random space, leaving behind a fairly decent machine that's convenient for me. Pomray really created an interesting little thing."

I was still a bit confused, so I repeated what Unicron had said to Shockwave again. After I finished, a question came to mind.

"Your Majesty, Your Majesty, is it alright to tell him about this?"

"What effect will it have if you say more to the insects?"

Shockwave seemed ready to ask more questions, but I interrupted him: "You've asked enough, it's my turn to ask. What's your relationship with the steel fork?"

"We are spark mates."

So Shockwave is Steel Fork's wife, Steel Fork's body is mine, so rounding up, Steel Fork's wife is also my wife.

"Can I call you my wife?"

The red light in the optical lens intensified, directly meeting my gaze. He remained silent for a moment, his hand still on my breastplate, his lowered back wings returning to their initial height, the magnetic field shifting before settling again. Did I sense that his mood had actually improved? Is discovering one's partner's death and finding a second wife a happy thing?

He said, "Yes, that makes sense."

"Yay!"

Having just emerged from the Earth's surface, I found myself with a wife I adore. I raised my wings high, placed my hands on the circular stripes on my wife's shoulders, and asked with my most sincere, solemn, and kindest smile, "Honey, where is the space bridge? I have business to attend to in Cybertron."

"..."

"You're very smart. Do you know my abilities?"

The superpower transmitted energy fluctuations in the space. I released the shockwave's shoulder armor and picked up his hand cannon to examine and play with it carefully. The hand cannon, which was charging, deflated like a punctured balloon when I touched it. He wanted to blast me with the large hand cannon, which looked quite powerful, but immediately realized that he could not harm me and showed a docile and gentle appearance.

“I know about Steel Fork’s abilities and deduce that your abilities are similar to hers.”

"It seems that way. I am her Pro Max 2.0 upgrade."

“Shockwave,” I grinned, “I’ll ask you one more time, where is the Decepticons’ space bridge?”

The mission of Unicron is my highest pursuit, and nothing can stop me; I must reach Cybertron.

The bright red light bulb of shockwave kept staring at me, but remained silent. I waited patiently for him, hoping that this newly recognized darling wife could help me, or even better, stand on my side.

I heard him say, "The Decepticons don't have a space bridge."

"Don't you have a ship this big?!"

"The Space Bridge is too big; the Decepticons' ships can't fit it. That makes sense."

"I don't believe it. I want to check your memories." If the Cosmic Emperor can check other people's memories, there's no reason why I can't.

Shockwave immediately retreated, his back wings drooping, his magnetic field filled with terror, clearly indicating he was afraid and wanted to escape. I placed one hand on his optical lens—which was also his head sculpt—and the other on the chain connecting his hand cannon to the mecha. You little darling, do you think you can escape? Hehe.

Then nothing happened. Am I not an apostle of Unicron? Don't I have the ability to investigate people? I felt terrible and wanted to cry. In my despair, I took out—a data cable. I needed to connect to the shockwave data.

A turbulent current of data washed over our consciousness, and the fusion of individual thoughts occurred between us. With Unicron's help, I cracked the data interception of the Shockwave, and I saw his knowledge and experience. As the Decepticons' chief scientist, he was truly loyal to the Decepticons, but he had no personal feelings for anyone. He had feelings for Grimlock, but not much—truly ruthless. But now she's my wife.

Shockwave's CPU was running at high speed. He abandoned guarding his own thoughts and instead tried to break through mine. With Unicron around, how could he possibly succeed? This caused his body temperature to rise rapidly, becoming unbearably hot. The whirring of the ventilation fans couldn't alleviate the intense heat or the dizziness from overusing the brain module. A thin layer of condensation formed on his body surface. He wasn't a typical Cybertronian machine; he had no mouth, but that didn't stop him from instinctively using his vocal cords to emit heavy "breathing" sounds, simulating increased ventilation to deceive his body into thinking it was exchanging heat more. It was mostly useless—just for psychological comfort.

How much of my memory can he possibly see with all this effort? I don't know. I was just born, a tiny baby, and I don't have many memories to begin with. He can see as much as he wants. With the Cosmic Emperor around, I'm not worried about him tampering with my brain modules. Praise be to the Emperor.

My playful side kicked in, and I wanted to see how long Shockwave could maintain such a high-temperature state. The mech reached a certain temperature and then stopped rising; its back wings drooped, and it barely supported itself against the lower edge of the experimental table. Connected by the data cable, we were very close. One of its hands, its cannon, was clasped behind me, practically hugging me. I, in turn, braced myself on the experimental table with one hand and hugged it back. Its thick chest armor pressed against my mech, and the red optics seemed to reflect a blurry image of myself. I maintained my posture, watching it "breathe"—this wretched state was quite amusing.

The dim laboratory lights shone on us, flickering. The optical mirror of the shockwave device dimmed, and it lost its momentum. Only the ventilation fan continued to turn instinctively. I held its waist and placed the machine on the experimental table. It went offline because it couldn't withstand the strain, and I left.

Now that I know the Decepticons have Space Bridge, they can't move left or right. I want to play as a Cybertronian; Shockwave is so much fun!

It would be great if there were more comments.
