Transmigrating to IDW (Completed)
"The Senate was attacked by terrorists last night. Please do not panic..."
A mysterious terrorist wreaked havoc in the Senate, wiping out all the senators who were in the middle of a meeting. A large number of guards were quickly mobilized to capture the killer, but they couldn't even spot a trace of him. Some tried to extract memories from the corpses to reveal the killer's true identity, but could only see a blurry shadow; the killer had used a special method to conceal his form.
A massacre targeting the Senate's high-ranking officials began and ended swiftly.
The shockwave member received an urgent notification that the parliament had decided to convene an emergency meeting to discuss how to deal with terrorists and their impact.
As he sat down, the conference room door, which had just closed, opened again. The bodies of the guards lay outside, still gripping their guns tightly. The head sculpt had separated from the machine, and a pool of energy fluid was slowly spreading beneath it. A blurry shadow entered, its face and form indistinct.
He immediately hid under the table and dialed the internal line to call the security. The senator next to him didn't even have time to scream before his head sculpt was ripped off and torn open, the exposed brain module being squeezed into a crumpled piece of metal. The headless machine collapsed limply to the ground, the broken tubes in its neck scattering like tangled threads, half flowing and half being pumped out of the IV tubing, forming a small puddle of blue energy liquid on the floor. To ensure complete elimination and leave no future threat, this wasn't the only senator treated this way; all the senators present in the conference room suffered this fate, except for one machine—Shockwave Senator.
Once the surroundings quieted down, Senator Shockwave poked his head out. He looked up and saw the shadowy humanoid figure standing in front of him, bent over, with what appeared to be its head positioned right in front of his optical glasses.
Steel Fork wanted to return to her own universe as soon as possible, but she also wanted to protect the shockwave from harm. What to do? She came up with a good idea—eliminate all the factors that threatened the shockwave. The IDW Steel Fork warning reappeared in her brain module, and she quickly locked onto her targets: first, the Senate—the proponents of the Five Punishments; second, the Council—the mastermind behind the persecution of the shockwave. Those around her were mostly superhumans and working-class people; their vehement criticism and complaints against the Council and Senate only fueled Steel Fork's hatred for them and her determination to act.
So she took action.
Back to the present, Senator Shockwave was momentarily stunned. He stared intently at the shadow and quickly noticed something: a pair of wings were revealed behind it, and the figure in the shadow gradually became clearer and more and more like a machine he recognized.
"A steel fork?"
His flame suddenly stopped for a second, as if it had been gripped by an invisible force.
"You got it right." Once only she and Senator Shockwave remained in the conference room, Steel Fork gradually revealed herself. The shadow was a deliberate distortion of space around her using her powers to conceal her identity, preventing light from reaching her body and leaving only a blurry, shadowy darkness visible to the outside world. Why not conceal herself and actively reveal her identity? On one hand, Steel Fork wanted to demonstrate this feat to Senator Shockwave; on the other hand, she didn't want to frighten him, after all, it was all for him, and they were friends.
With its wings spread high behind it and a joyful expression on its faceplate, the steel fork pointed to the mess it had created. "Councilor, this is my parting gift."
"If the Parliament and the Senate will harm you in the future—my friend, then I will make them all disappear. Only when your enemies are gone can I return to my universe in peace. Tell me, who else are your enemies? I will go and wipe them all out!"
'Why you?' he wanted to ask, but only a hoarse, electrical sound came from the speaker.
“No!” Senator Shockwave gripped the fork’s arm tightly and said, “That’s enough.”
"Is that enough?" Steel Fork retorted.
The footsteps of the guards outside grew louder, and a dense mass of figures quickly appeared at the conference room door. Orian, who had rushed over, was at the head of the group. He pointed his gun at the terrorists inside the conference room and shouted, "Don't move!"
He quickly recognized the figure, his optical glasses narrowing slightly. He had never imagined that the steel fork, who always wanted a hug, could cause such devastating destruction. No, Orion told himself with a headache, he should have realized it sooner; he should have noticed something when he went to deal with the mess the steel fork had caused that day. He quickly composed himself and stared warily at the steel fork.
Someone in the guard opened fire. Steel Fork quickly dodged when she saw the shells coming, broke through the wall and ran away, away from the shockwave senator.
Behind her, the three spacetime vortexes of the land bridges, like three enormous eyes, slowly opened, devouring the surrounding light, with her positioned in the very center. Steel Fork had been practicing her abilities at the Advanced Technical Academy these past few days. Perhaps she hadn't expected it, or perhaps she had underestimated herself, but she had successfully activated two land bridges simultaneously, and she felt she was far from reaching her limit. Now, she was going to activate all three land bridges at once. The three spacetime vortexes would tear space apart where she stood, shattering the barriers between universes. She would ride through the spacetime tunnel formed by the void in these barriers back "home."
Steel Fork swung her arm, her wings tracing rainbow-colored trails in the distorted light. She wanted to say a final goodbye to the friends she had met in this universe. A trace of reluctance flashed in her optical mirror, as if recalling every moment spent with Shockwave. In the torn and distorted space, light also twisted and could not travel in straight lines. Shockwave and Orion could only see Steel Fork's distorted figure, her twisted visor looking like a mournful face. Steel Fork shouted loudly, trying to make her voice pierce through the torn spacetime. Her voice lost its original timbre, but the distorted sound carried a hint of joy:
Goodbye... I'm going home!
"I will...think...about...them...!"
...
Senator Shockwave found a data panel on the table in the Steel Fork room. After reading its contents, he sighed, as if expressing unspeakable emotions.
"Bye now."
At the top of the data panel is a piece of data—the frequency of the steel fork's spark, followed by a paragraph:
Steel Fork, born in the Elyon region 2.5 million 2.5 million years in the future, is a green spark! Don't forget to go find her!
...
The steel fork fell out of the time tunnel and landed directly in Shockwave's arms in the laboratory. The Cybertronian heavy tank's tonnage and defensive capabilities allowed Shockwave to catch the steel fork's body steadily.
Upon seeing the familiar machine again, Steel Fork hugged Shockwave's machine tightly in its arms, "Wow, I missed you so much."
The divine child, standing to the side, frowned indignantly: "What about us? You only remember him!"
"Wow, I miss you all so much."
Steel Fork, noting that this was Shockwave's laboratory, asked Rafik, the Divine Child, "What are you doing here?"
Divine Child: "Ever since you disappeared, Shockwave has been trying to track your signal and bring you back. We were all worried about you, so we came to check on you, though it probably didn't help much. By the way, you've been missing for several months, where have you been?"
"Another World"
"Wow, what's it like in another world? Is it fun? What's new and interesting? Did you take any photos or videos? Did you bring back any souvenirs? Most importantly, how do you feel about it?"
"Not bad? I made a few good friends, but unfortunately, we haven't had many chances to meet again."
"Do you have photos? Do you have photos? Do you have photos?"
"Hey! Don't rush! Of course there is." Steel Fork pulled a data cable out of the machine and connected it to the God's phone. Raffi and Jack also came over, and the three fluffy heads almost touched.
"Whose machine is this? Why are there so many of them?"
He is—
"Your actions are pointless. Steel Fork, report your physical condition." Shockwave interrupted their conversation, finding it somewhat distasteful of Steel Fork's affectionate chatter with the humans about her new friends. Hmph, anyway, those new friends are in another universe; Steel Fork won't see them again.
But another universe?
The machine's display screen recorded the intense spacetime fluctuations at the moment the steel fork returned, and the scientific research spirit of the shockwave burned brightly.
