Chapter 47: Ambush

"Seeing that everyone's attention was not on him, Qin Jianjun sneaked out."

He walked very fast along the way, so he wasn't chasing anything.

Until he saw that familiar figure, his heart started beating violently.

There was a flash of struggle in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced by ferocity.

During this period, he lived a life worse than that of a pig or a dog, without any dignity, and no one ever took pity on him or let him go.

He sleeps later than a dog and wakes up earlier than a chicken every day.

He had had enough of this kind of life.

He wanted to eat meat, he wanted to gamble, and he wanted to return to his previous life.

But since he failed to sell Han'er, his life in this family began to change dramatically.

All of this was caused by Han'er. He only disliked the child, not liked him.

Sooner or later, he would sell him to somewhere far away, and he would never appear in front of him again in this life.

But right now, the goal is to get the boss’s money.

Thinking of this, his ambiguous expression turned into a sinister smile.

Qin Jiandang, who was unaware of the approaching danger, was just walking forward on his own.

The rain has stopped, but the mountain road is bumpy and there is water everywhere.

Every step you take will leave a deep footprint.

Qin Jianjun didn't dare to take the main road for fear of leaving footprints behind. If the police were called, they would be traced back to him.

So he stayed in the steeper mountains and forests, and with the cover of the jungle, he was not afraid of being discovered by the boss.

Seeing that the boss was unaware of his presence, he walked over quickly.

In his hand he was holding a wooden stick as thick as his wrist, which he had picked up on the road.

Qin Jiandang was walking outside and still didn't sense the approaching danger.

I don't know what he was thinking, he didn't notice the big puddle in front of him and just stepped into it.

Although his rain boots could prevent water from reaching below the knees, the mud in this mud pit was very thick and he got a little stuck in it.

I tried to lift my leg up, but still couldn't get it up.

So he bent down, grabbed the sides of his rain boots with both hands, and tried to get out of the mud pit using his hands and feet.

Qin Jianjun, who was not far away, knew that the opportunity had come, and he looked around nervously.

After making sure that there was no one around, he quickly walked over and came behind Qin Jiandang.

Qin Jianjun raised the wooden stick in his hand, and the scene of his elder brother beating him flashed through his mind. Intense hatred overwhelmed his rationality.

Without any hesitation, he hit the boss on the back of the head with all his strength.

"Hmm!" Qin Jiandang felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, and a muffled groan came from his throat. Then everything went dark and he knew nothing.

At the moment when the wooden stick hit Qin Jiandang's head, Qin Jianjun's heart beat violently and he was in a daze.

His hands were still tightly holding the stick, and the bright red blood on the stick was slowly flowing down the top of the stick to his hands. It was not until Qin Jiandang fell heavily to the ground and the accumulated water splashed, staining both of his trouser legs, that he reacted.

Seeing the bloody hole on the back of the boss's head and the blood oozing out, turning the water on the road red, he was so scared that he quickly let go of the stick in his hand.

He knew that the boss's condition was very serious and if he was not treated in time, he would probably die from excessive blood loss.

But he didn't dare call for help, let alone take him to the hospital for treatment, otherwise it would prove that he was the murderer.

"Boss, don't blame me for being cruel. It's you who can't tolerate me!" Qin Jianjun said fiercely and no longer looked at Qin Jiandang who had a pale face.

He squatted down and searched Qin Jiandang's trouser pockets.

After searching for a long time, he finally found the five big unity notes given to him by the old lady in his left trouser pocket.

Looking at the money in his hand, Qin Jianguo was in a good mood.

He hasn't touched money for a long time, but now is not the time to go out and have fun, he has to go back quickly.

Otherwise, if they knew that something happened to Qin Jiandang, they would definitely suspect me.

Fortunately, Qin Jiandang's blood did not splash on his body.

Otherwise, if they see me when I go back, I won’t be able to explain myself clearly.

Thinking of this, he stood up, took a last look at Qin Jiandang who was still bleeding, turned around and ran away with a ruthless heart.

But before he could take a step, he seemed to have thought of something, and he bent down and forcefully turned Qin Jiandang over so that he was facing up. Then he found a soft stone to pad the injured area, creating the illusion that he had slipped and fallen on the soft stone because the road was slippery on a rainy day.

At least, at first glance, it wouldn't look artificial.

After finishing all this, he picked up the stick and ran back without any reluctance.

To prevent anyone from seeing him on the mountain road, he deliberately avoided the main road and threw the wooden stick into a bottomless cave.

Fortunately, it was raining today and few people went out, so we had a safe journey.

When he was almost home, he hid the money in the insole of his shoe and walked away as if nothing had happened.

The rain stopped and started again in the blink of an eye, heavier than before, accompanied by terrifying thunder and lightning that made people's scalps numb.

Qin Jianjun felt delighted. Go ahead and go down, go down, it would be best if it went down harder to wash away all traces of him on the mountain.

But when he entered the house, he ran over.

The rain was extremely heavy. After only walking a dozen steps, his clothes were soaked. The cold wind made him shiver.

As usual, God doesn't want Qin Jiandang to survive.

He had lost so much blood and was exposed to the rain that his body would soon lose its normal temperature.

By then, the cold will freeze him to death.
