Chapter 706: Making a Snowman

Looking at his son who was only a few years older than Zhu Likang, he said impatiently, "All you do is eat. Hurry up and do your homework."

After saying that, she walked into the room, leaving the boy confused. Did he eat dynamite?

He was just smiling and saying that there would be delicious food in a while, but when he came back after using the toilet, he became a different person.

After a while, Qin Han arrived at Zhu Likang's home. The door of his house was half open. There were a lot of corn, garlic and peppers hanging on the walls on both sides of the door, and there were also a lot of farm tools on the ground.

The voices of Zhu Likang's mother and grandmother talking could be faintly heard in the hall.

"The New Year is coming soon. I have to hurry up and make new shoes for Li Kang. The child is growing fast. The shoes he wore last year are a bit tight this year."

Zhu Likang's mother couldn't speak and could only gesture with her hands. All Qin Han could hear was the tone coming from her throat, but he had no idea what she was saying.

Seeing that he still didn't hear Zhu Likang's voice, Qin Han walked to the gate and called out Zhu Likang directly.

Zhu Likang, who was doing his homework in the room, heard the voice of Class Leader Qin. He excitedly put down his pen and walked out of the room happily.

At the same time, Qin Han had walked into the hall. Seeing Zhu Likang's mother and grandmother, he greeted them politely.

Grandma Zhu liked Qin Han very much. When she saw him coming, she couldn't stop smiling: "Student Qin, why are you here? There's snow everywhere outside. Did you fall on the road?"

"I didn't fall, thank you grandma for your concern!" Qin Han had just finished answering when Mother Zhu stood up and brought him a small stool, motioning him to sit by the fire and warm himself.

At this time, Zhu Likang also walked out of the room. Looking at the person with snow hanging beside him, he hurriedly asked if something had happened.

Qin Han just found it funny: "Why, you can't come if you have nothing to do?"

Seeing that squad leader Qin had misunderstood, Zhu Likang scratched his head awkwardly: "That's not what I meant, it's just that it's snowing now, if you don't have anything to do, you might fall if you come here at this time."

Zhu Likang was the only one who was worried about him. Qin Han smiled and handed him the lunch box. "These are the dumplings my grandma made this morning. They are still warm. I brought them here especially for you."

Zhu Likang subconsciously reached out to take it, feeling the warmth of the lunch box in his palm, his heart warmed: "Just eat it, I've had breakfast!"

"It's been delivered. Eat quickly so I can take the lunch box back after you're done." Qin Han urged.

"Student Qin, you have come all the way to deliver dumplings to my grandson, so you can't just go back like this. We have some bacon at home. I will fry you my best dish, fried bacon with garlic leaves, at noon. I guarantee you will love it." Grandma Zhu said immediately.

Qin Han knew that the bacon was probably reserved for the New Year, so he prepared to find an excuse to leave. Zhu Likang immediately agreed, "What my grandma said is true. The bacon and garlic leaves she fried are really delicious. I can eat three bowls of rice by myself."

Speaking of this, his eyes sparkled, as if something had entered his eyes. Qin Han knew that if he refused to stay, his eyes would immediately dim.

So he smiled and agreed: "Okay, I'll eat here at noon. Grandma Zhu, you can just cook two dishes. I'm not picky about food."

"Okay, once I finish sewing this dress, I'll go make lunch."

Mother Zhu also expressed her gratitude to Qin Han in sign language, thanking him for giving dumplings to Li Kang.

Qin Han could roughly guess what she was saying, so he responded with two sentences.

Zhu Likang put the lunch box on the table, opened one of the lids, and looked at the dumplings as big as his fist. He was stunned: "Are these dumplings too big?"

"The bigger ones are the best. Eat them quickly. They won't taste good if they get cold."

Of the last eight dumplings, Mother Zhu and Grandma Zhu each ate two, and the remaining four went into Zhu Likang's stomach.

After eating the dumplings, he drank all the soup. The dumplings were so delicious.

Although it contains a lot of meat filling, he thinks it tastes better than meat.

Grandma Zhu suddenly felt overwhelmed. The dumplings tasted so good, and she didn’t know whether the dishes she would cook later would suit Qin Han’s taste.

After eating the dumplings, Mother Zhu went to the kitchen to wash the dishes.

Zhu Likang took Qin Han to his room.

The room was not big and the furniture inside was very worn out, but it was quite clean and tidy.

There was Zhu Likang's half-finished homework on the table. He happened to have several questions he didn't know how to answer, so he wanted to ask Qin Han for help.

"It's snowing outside. Don't you want to go out and build a snowman for fun?" Qin Han didn't rush to teach him to do his homework, but started chatting with him.

Zhu Likang replied nonchalantly, "Snow happens every year, it's nothing unusual. Besides, I'm the only child in the family, and it's boring to play alone. I might as well do more homework and improve my grades."

In this midterm exam, he moved up from fourth to third in the class.

But he was not satisfied. He wanted to be second. He wanted to keep up with Qin Han's pace. If he did business in the future, he would be able to give him advice and be his right-hand man.

After hearing him say this, Qin Han felt that he was putting too much pressure on himself, which might backfire.

So, he was given a task, which was to build a snowman at least one meter tall outside the door, otherwise he would not be allowed to do his homework.

Zhu Likang listened to Qin Han's words and immediately walked out of the room to make a snowman.

He never made a snowman when it snowed before.

Snowing was just a normal day for him.

Mother Zhu came out of the kitchen and was very happy to see that her son finally agreed to come out to play.

Usually, Li Kang spends his time at home doing homework except for working. He is so dull that he doesn't act like a child at all and looks lifeless.

Sometimes she worries, can Li Kang make friends with his personality?

When he asked, it turned out that he only had one friend in the class, Qin.

Now seeing the smile on his face, it seemed to melt her heart. This is what a child should be like, isn't it?

Qin Han noticed the change in Mother Zhu's expression and suddenly felt that he had a talent for being a nanny.

Everyone needs him to save them. In his previous life, he didn't seem like the Demon Emperor, but more like the Virgin Mary.

By the time Zhu Likang finished making the snowman, he was already sweating from the heat.

But I have to admit that he has some skills. The snowman, more than one meter tall, looks like a work of art. The eyes, nose and mouth seem to be endowed with a soul.

As expected, the smart kid is also dexterous. Qin Han gave him a thumbs up without hesitation.

Zhu Likang's ears turned red with embarrassment: "I saw a snowman in a book, so I imitated it and made one."
