Chapter 103: Boss Yu Next Door
The dining table and chair left by Boss Wang became Zhang Pei's workbench. Liu Lan also gave her a desktop computer to facilitate her accounting work.
Since Zhang Pei had to go in and out of Boss Wang's restaurant through the stairs next to its main entrance every day, she became familiar with Boss Wang. The humble "Auntie" and his polite behavior made Zhang Pei feel good about him.
"No, no, my home is very close to here, just ten minutes' walk."

Liu Lan held an umbrella for herself and another in her hand as she rushed over from home to pick up Zhang Pei. When she arrived downstairs at the restaurant, she found that the lights in the warehouse on the second floor were off and no one was there.

Liu Lan became anxious and subconsciously wanted to go next door to find Yu Zhan to ask about the situation. Liu Lan's expression was so weird, she was neither crying nor laughing. Should she pretend that she didn't know Yu Zhan, or should she tell her mother that they had been friends for a long time?
Yu Zhan winked at her secretly, and then as if he was seeing Liu Lan for the first time, he praised Zhang Pei, "Your daughter is so beautiful, she looks like you, I can't tell you already have a daughter this old."
Zhang Pei couldn't stop smiling. Every mother likes to hear others praise her children, and she likes to hear others indirectly praise her youth and beauty even more!
She said politely, "You are not only handsome but also very talented. You are only a few years older than my daughter, but you have already opened a pet hospital. Your parents are so lucky to have such a good child like you."
Liu Lan, who knew that Yu Zhan's parents had passed away, thought that it was bad and her mother must have said something wrong, but she saw that Yu Zhan was still smiling and there was no sign of strangeness on his face.
On the way back, Zhang Pei kept praising Yu Zhan in front of Liu Lan, saying that he was handsome, had a noble character, and was young and promising.
Liu Lan also listened all the way. She felt that her mother was right. Yu Zhan was so outstanding that anyone who knew him would involuntarily have a good impression of him.
From then on, Zhang Pei and Yu Zhan became familiar with each other. Every day when going to and from get off work, the two would greet each other, and Yu Zhan would invite Zhang Pei for tea every few days.
