Bai Chen took Meng Yue and the others to train in the training ground for seven days. Yang Youxue gave each of them a bag of medicinal powder, which was used to drive away wild beasts, snakes, insects, rats and ants. They also took some tools from Yang Dahu and the training equipment sent by their uncle, and went to Qinglong Mountain.
When they arrived at Qinglong Mountain, Yang Youxue and Bai Chen led everyone to reclaim wasteland and build a training ground.
After seven days of travel, Long Ting and the wedding procession finally arrived at Tongmei Town. After settling everyone in the inn, Long Ting sent a messenger back to Mingjian Villa to inform him that he, too, would be resting in Tongmei Town. Yang Qingman was the bride and she couldn't leave the room, so Yang Qingpei had to let Yang Qinghao and Yang Qingfeng stay in the inn to accompany her elder sister. She took Yang Qingyou and Bai Yu to Tongmei Town to buy a yard.
The three of them went to the Ya Market and found a broker. The broker took them to a courtyard with three entrances and exits in the east of the town and bought it for five hundred taels. This courtyard was where the Yang family would stay when they came to visit Yang Qingman, and it was also where Yang Qingman could stay when she was unhappy.
After buying the courtyard, the three of them went on to buy five maids, two servants, a cook, and two guards. Then, the matchmaker asked Yang Qingpei, Yang Qingyou, Yang Qinghao and Yang Qingfeng to roll on the bed.
As Yang Qingpei and the others rolled around, the matchmaker said auspicious words.
"Roll in bed, roll in bed, health and longevity! A house full of children and grandchildren! One roll, gold and silver all over the floor; two rolls, sons and daughters; three rolls, peace and health; four rolls, dragons and phoenixes; five rolls, good luck and fortune; six rolls, family peace; seven rolls, everything goes well; eight rolls, family business prospers; nine rolls, eternity; ten rolls, perfection!" Yang Qingpei and her four siblings rolled ten times. The bridesmaid said ten auspicious words before letting them get up. Then she helped Yang Qingman sit on the bed, picked up the wedding pole, and handed it to Long Ting.
"Please, groom, lift the veil!"
Long Ting took the wedding pole and lifted the red veil.
"Everything goes well!" The bridesmaid said "Everything goes well" when she lifted the red veil in the Dragon Court.
The bridesmaid picked up two glasses of wine, one for Yang Qingman and the other for Long Ting.
"Please ask the bride and groom to drink the wedding wine!" said the matchmaker.
Long Ting and Yang Qingman raised their glasses. Long Ting held the glass and shook hands with Yang Qingman, and they drank the wine from the cup.
When the bride and groom drank the wedding wine, the bridesmaid said: "Drinking from the wedding cup together, we will be together forever!"
After the bride and groom finished drinking the wedding wine, the bridesmaid waited for Long Ting to give her ten taels of silver. Long Ting was so happy that the bridesmaid said a lot of nice things and then left the bridal chamber to go to the banquet.
