"I really didn't lie. Everything I said is true." The madam assured.
Meng Yue looked at her expression and didn't think she was bragging, so she believed her. What she said was consistent with what she had found out through the intelligence network. There was nothing more to ask, so she just sent her on her way.

Meng Yue and Meng Long were having breakfast when the waiter called them out. Seeing the constables, they knew what was going on. They hadn't expected them to be so efficient and find them so quickly. It was a good thing, though, as she was heading to the county government office.
"A witness saw you appear at Zuihualou. Please follow us back to the yamen." said the constable.
"Okay, we'll go back with you to assist in the investigation," said Meng Yue.
"Take him away!" said the constable.
So, the constable took Meng Yue and Meng Long back to the county government office. When the people in front of the inn heard that it was a fire in Zuihualou, they began to talk about it.
"Lengfeng, what should we do now?" Lengdian asked Lengfeng.
"Lengshui, go back and tell Lord Lengyu to find a way to save people." Lengfeng said to Lengshui.
"Yes, I will go there quickly and come back soon. You must protect Law Enforcement Officer Meng." Leng Shui said to Leng Feng and Leng Dian.
Meng Yue and Meng Long were taken back to the county government office. The detectives wanted to take them into a dark room where there were many torture instruments used to deal with criminals.
"Wait, big brother, can you please tell your master that I'm here to see him for something?" Meng Yue said to the detectives.
"Our masters are busy, so you'd better confess obediently to avoid physical pain." The constable reminded Meng Yue and Meng Long.
