Chapter 6 Good and Bad Consequences 5

Zhao Zhao was placed in a palace close to Luochen's bedroom. In order to take care of him, Luochen specially assigned him four maids.

The maids took great pains to decorate the little god's room in a childish style, the kind that most children would like.

But the little son of God didn't even look at it. Instead, his favorite place to stay was a dark corner. He often stayed there for a whole day, neither talking nor eating.

The maids were very worried about this situation, because a son of God like him who had no divine power still had to eat at a fixed time.

But the Son of God refused to eat, and they could not force him to do so.

Helplessly, the maid Duan Yu bravely went to report to the busy God Emperor about the fact that the little God Son did not eat.

On the high seat of the temple, Luo Chen was reviewing memorials. Upon hearing this, he propped up his chin with one hand, his posture casual and elegant, and asked nonchalantly, "How long has it been since the Son of God had a meal?"

Duan Yu lowered his eyes, not daring to look at him, "Your Majesty, it has been two days."

"Is he throwing a tantrum again?"

Luo Chen recalled the day when he brought Zhao Zhao back. He had a wronged look on his face, and he didn't talk to him or eat with him.

Duan Yu didn't dare to speculate about the Son of God's thoughts, even though he was still young.

He replied honestly, "Your Majesty, I don't know."

Luo Chen's eyebrows moved slightly, and he finally put down the book he was reading halfway.

In just a moment, they arrived at Zhaozhao's bedroom. Standing at the door of the bedroom, which was decorated in a very childlike way, Luochen hesitated for a moment before going in.

Using his spiritual sense to search, he instantly found Zhao Zhao in the small corner.

"Zhao."

Zhao Zhao curled up into a ball with her knees hugged, which was a very insecure posture.

Even if Luochen called him, he ignored her.

Luochen has never coaxed a child. He doesn’t know how to do it, and he doesn’t have the energy to do so.

With a cold face, he forcefully held Zhao Zhao in his arms, intending to take him out for a walk.

In the past, when he was in a bad mood, what he wanted to do most was to go out and see the scenery. He thought Zhao Zhao would like it too, so he carried him out without saying a word.

Zhao Zhao buried his head in Luo Chen's chest, as quiet as a soulless puppet.

Luo Chen held him and walked around for a long time, but seeing that he didn't even raise his eyes, he sighed helplessly.

The handsome face finally no longer had the same indifference.

He softened his voice, a rare moment. "Whatever Zhao wants to do, as long as it's not excessive, I'll try my best to satisfy you."

Hearing this, Zhao Zhao's dull eyes instantly lit up, "Su Su."

Luochen paused, his handsome brows furrowed again, "No."

Zhao Zhao looked at him as if he was a liar, and his clear golden eyes slowly filled with tears. Luo Chen sighed again. Facing the young child, his icy heart rarely felt a bit of guilt.

"Change it, and I will satisfy you."

But this time Zhao Zhao didn't buy it and just kept crying.

Seeing that Zhaozhao's tears fell on Luochen's clothes, staining a cloud pattern, Duan Yu, who had been following her, hurriedly handed her a handkerchief.

Luochen took it, his movements were clumsy but he carefully controlled the strength and gently wiped Zhaozhao's tears.

Zhao Zhao's fair face turned red from crying. Luo Chen was really afraid that he would cry, so he coaxed him, "Zhao Mo, if you cry, I will take you to find other children of gods to play with."

Zhao Zhao buried her head in his arms again, but she didn't refuse after all. Luo Chen thought so and assumed that he wanted to find other little godsons to play with, so he ordered someone to summon the priests who had little godsons at home.

"The sons of God will be here later. Would you like to eat first?"

Luo Chen used the most gentle tone he had ever used. It was hard to imagine that raising a little god who was prone to expressing his emotions was so difficult.

Seeing Zhao Zhao finally nodded in response to him this time, Luo Chen felt inexplicably relieved. It was strange to think that the God Emperor, who had always been indifferent to everyone, was now happy to receive a response from the little Son of God.

That’s right, he was happy. He found that he was happy that Zhao Zhao finally paid attention to him.
