"Hmm!" Qi Miao groaned, the bullet had already penetrated into his right shoulder armor.
His body froze, his center of gravity shifted, and he took two steps back before he was able to stabilize his body.
"Put me down!" Mo Yan said coldly.
Qi Miao endured the severe pain and put Mo Yan down.
Mo Yan examined the gunshot wound on Qi Miao's shoulder blade and asked, "How is it?"
Qi Miao took a deep breath and said, "I'm fine!"
Mo Yan said coldly, "Let's leave first!"
But their whereabouts were completely exposed and they were discovered by the searchers.
Gunfire ensued.
Qi Miao was supported by Mo Yan, and the two continued to evacuate.
But before they had taken a few steps, they were surrounded by the other side, and the guns were pointed at them again.
There is nowhere to escape and no way to run!
The more tense the atmosphere, the calmer the two became.
"Where's the stuff?" the man came over again.
"There are too many people in the world who want that thing. Whether you can get it depends on your ability." Mo Yan looked at the other party coldly.
His figure was hidden by a black windbreaker and he was wearing a black mask, so his face could not be seen clearly.
He was tall and one could tell that he was a man, and from a prominent family in the capital, otherwise they wouldn't have the guts to bring Cyril and his gang into the capital.
"Since you said so, I think I should be able to get it!" The voice through the voice changer seemed particularly creepy in the dark forest.
“Bring it here!”
Then, Lin Jing was brought over from the other side, still holding the box.
"Give it to me!"
Lin Jing hesitated for a moment and looked at Mo Yan with a complicated look.
Under Mo Yan's gaze, Lin Jing personally handed the box to the other party, then glanced at Mo Yan's deep and unfathomable eyes, lowered her head in disappointment, and dared not look at her again!
The other party weighed the box for a few times, then chuckled. "Don't you think I'm particularly capable? I got this thing so easily!"
A hint of surprise flashed in Qi Miao's eyes. She never expected that there would be a spy among them, making Boss Mo vulnerable to attacks from both sides.

Qi Miao subconsciously took Mo Yan's arm, wanting to give him some comfort.
A smile appeared on his pale face. "Really? Then I should congratulate you!"
Seeing that Mo Yan was unmoved, the other party thought that she was acting like this out of disappointment and was planning to provoke her.
"Lin Jing, right? From now on, just follow me and study this thing carefully. You will definitely benefit from it!"
Lin Jing didn't say anything, but nodded slightly to show her agreement.
Then the man looked at Mo Yan provocatively, wanting to see a different expression on Mo Yan's face.
But it didn't go as he wished.
Mo Yan's overly calm reaction surprised the other party. Why could he be so calm when the thing she valued so much was in his hands? Being suspicious by nature, he began to suspect that there was something fishy going on.
He then ordered someone to turn on the light that came with it and asked Lin Jing to open the box to see if the things inside were real.
Under the light, Lin Jing entered the password and opened the box.
As soon as the box was opened, a look of shock appeared on his face.
"What's wrong?" The man also saw Lin Jing's shocked expression and asked unhappily.
Lin Jing looked at Mo Yan meaningfully, then turned the box around and pointed it at the man.
"What?" The man was also very shocked. "Empty?"
Then he looked at Mo Yan and asked, "You lied to me?"
"Why would I lie to you?" Mo Yan sneered.
The man hesitated for a moment and then asked tentatively, "You knew this a long time ago?"
"Ha!" Mo Yan said nothing, just smiled.
"Good, you're doing great!" The man pointed at Mo Yan. "It seems like you already knew this! You did this on purpose!"
"Look, she's used you as a pawn too!"
This sentence was said to Lin Jing!
Mo Yan raised her eyebrows. The man's provocative words did not have much effect on her.
Qi Miao breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Boss Mo must have known about it in advance, which was why this scene happened.
Seeing how nervous they are, I guess the things inside must be quite important.
"So you knew this all along?" Lin Jing looked at Mo Yan in disbelief.
Mo Yan opened his pale lips slightly and said, "I didn't know you would betray me!"
So she knew that something would go wrong with the deal tonight, so she made preparations in advance, but she didn't know that the person she trusted most would betray her.
Or maybe she had already noticed it, but she didn't want to believe it, so she deliberately let Lin Jing follow her.
"Impossible. If you didn't know in advance, why would you prepare this empty box in advance and let me hold it and not let me give it to anyone?" Lin Jing said.
"That's because I know he'll do something!"
"He" refers to the man in front of him.
"Okay, I don't want to listen to your idle chat anymore!" The man was only concerned about the things that were supposed to be in the box, and didn't have much patience to watch the two of them chatting.
So he angrily pointed the gun at Mo Yan and said, "Tell me, where is that thing?"
Mo Yan stood there without answering, his expression calm and composed.
Seeing Mo Yan like this, she knew that she would definitely not say it. "Okay, you won't say it, right?"
