Chapter 185 Epilogue (Optional)

Since some of our friends said the ending felt rushed, I'll explain it to everyone and then post a more detailed outline.

The first one is Wang Yan. If we were to write about her later life, it would be to the point where she opens a restaurant and then goes to sea.

The restaurant she and Shen Jiamu are currently cooperating on has other people holding a 20% stake. Moreover, even though it's only a 20% stake, Shen Jiamu might end up having to give away more than half of the profits, which he wouldn't be happy about.

The two might later collaborate to open a new restaurant. This is specifically for cultivating relationships; in fact, the first restaurant served that purpose.

Most importantly, her family owns a fleet of ships, and through their fleet, Wang Yan is sure to make a lot of money at sea.

Furthermore, during this collaboration, there will definitely be power struggles involved, which I feel doesn't fit well with this book. Because when I wrote the section about the Shen family, one issue was that my writing style was too slow, and if I continued writing, readers might become impatient and unwilling to continue. Many people left comments expressing their dislike for the Shen family, and the author has seen these comments and is willing to listen to everyone's opinions.

However, the author doesn't want to deny himself. He read it carefully this time, and if there are any scenes involving political intrigue next time, he will definitely write them better so that everyone will be willing to read them.

Well, but the character I've set up for this book has a very low social status in ancient times. If I bypass Shen Jiamu and start writing a new outline and detailed outline to add to the story, I think it will be quite difficult.

At this point in time, I think ending it is just right.

The second is the Third Young Master. In the synopsis, Xu Shaoqing wasn't poisoned by Gu Ting this time. Although Gu Ting is insane, he still has his rationality and stopped in time. Therefore, Xu Shaoqing still won't trust Jiang Shiyi.

Jiang Shiyi will completely disown her, and afterwards, she will be tortured terribly.

Finally, through a series of events, she managed to get a message from Wang Xing, transferring her situation to the Earl's Mansion, but they wouldn't help her. She would return all her money to Xu Chen. Xu Chen would come to her rescue, but the price would be that she would have no further connection with Xu Chen or the Earl's Mansion.

Their scenes were cut because the main characters' scenes were cut, so I had to move the last two chapters over to write about them.

Don't feel sorry for Xu Shaoqing; she doesn't feel sorry for herself. She was in a confused state from beginning to end, loving someone to the point of wanting them to live and hating someone to the point of wanting them to die.

Because of her condition, Gu Ting and the others will suffer a terrible fate. They will die.

Because she acts without considering reason; she just acts impulsively and follows her own thoughts. This applies to both love and hate.

But my plan for her is that she won't die in the end, just like she is now.

Because I share the same opinion as other friends who have commented before, I think that while being love-struck is certainly hateful, people like Gu Ting are the ones who deserve to die the most.

They arranged for her to be sent to the estate, where she couldn't return. This was the same story as the original outline, and she was willing to do so. Because she could torment the people who had harmed her there.

Their scenes are being cut here because the main characters won't be featured anymore. Her role still needs about five more chapters. But for now, we can only try to finish it within these two chapters. Gu Ting, Gu Xiao, and Aunt Yang's final fate won't be good.

In fact, if we were to analyze the characters and tell you the truth, Gu Ting's current situation is inextricably linked to Aunt Yang and the others.

Many bad people are unaware of their own badness, and Gu Ting is one of them. Look at the things he did at the Marquis's residence; they were so disliked, but he thought that giving rewards was enough, and others would never see that he was bad.

However, when I was writing and putting myself in their minds, Gu Xiao and Aunt Yang really knew that they were bad!

Therefore, Gu Xiao, like Aunt Yang, will be tormented by Xu Shaoqing. She hates both of them, as foreshadowed in the previous chapters.

However, I always end my villainous stories in the last chapter. I will definitely change that in the next book and make them die much earlier!

This is a bit long, since it can't be posted if it's under 1000 words. Thanks for reading! See you again sometime!
