Chapter 45 The good mood was ruined

Hua Shi smiled and nodded, praising him for being so smart.

The little bun grinned, his big eyes curved into crescent shapes, and his saliva flowed out of his mouth and dripped onto his hands.

The little guy was stunned for a moment, looked down at the saliva on his hands, sucked his lips, and wiped it clumsily with his hands.

His little movements when he was spending time with her made me laugh out loud.

The little bun is so cute, well-behaved and obedient.

As time passed, the aroma of meat and fish gradually wafted from the small kitchen, and the smell went straight into my nose.

Hua Xiao pulled his younger brother and sat obediently at the dining table. The two similar little faces looked towards the kitchen door with eager looks.

“Thump…”

Only the sound of footsteps was heard, and Hua Xiao turned her head back in an attempt to hide her true feelings. She pretended to be reserved, looked around, and put on a serious face.

Hua Shi brought up the steamed rabbit meat. The wooden plate was a little small and couldn't hold it all on one plate, so she divided it into two plates.

"Axiao, go to the kitchen and bring over another plate." Hua Shi put down the wooden plate and said to Hua Xiao.

Hua Xiao, who had been listening with his ears perked up, suddenly became alert when he heard it. He propped himself up with his hands, stood up, and ran in like the wind.

Huaying blinked her big eyes like black grapes and looked at her eagerly. When she smelled the aroma of meat, her little face was watering with greed again.

Hua Shi followed back and brought out a steamed fish. There was still fish soup stewing in the pot, so she would serve it later and there was no rush.

Hua Xiao carefully brought the rabbit meat over, and the aroma that filled her nose kept lingering around her.

When Hua Shi brought over three pairs of bowls and chopsticks, the two little guys were still looking at her eagerly. There were three full plates on the table, none of which had been touched.

"Eat it."

Hua Shi divided the bowls and chopsticks between the two of them before speaking.

The two of them didn't move. Hua Xiao stared at him and asked hesitantly, "You won't share with us? Are you just going to eat like this?"

No matter what time or what they eat, they have to wait for Li to divide it before they can eat.

Hua Shi was stunned for a second, then reacted and said, "No need to share, just help yourself and eat as much as you want."

As he said this, worried that Huaying was still young and couldn't use chopsticks, he took his bowl, divided a small half bowl of rabbit meat for him, and placed it in front of him.

As soon as the little guy got the bowl, he couldn't wait to grab it and stuff it into his mouth.

He is not very good at using chopsticks. Normally, he can't even eat, let alone anyone who would teach him how to use chopsticks.

After hearing her words, Hua Xiao lowered his head and looked at the tender and juicy rabbit meat with a complicated look in his eyes, but he was soon attracted by the aroma and began to eat it with relish.

Hua Shi was also extremely hungry, so the three siblings buried their heads in eating and naturally did not notice the sudden footsteps coming from behind them.

"You guys! What are you guys doing?! Stealing food!"

While I was eating, an inappropriate voice interrupted me.

Hua Ciyuan came out at some point and pointed at the three people who were working hard on their meals with an expression of uncontrollable anger.

Hua Shi frowned, looked up, but didn't stop talking.

Hua Xiao was startled by the sound and stopped moving his hands.

Hua Ciyuan walked past quickly, his bookish face now filled with anger, "Hua Shi! Are you leading the charge?! Do you know what the consequences of cheating will be?! Mother knows..."

Hua Shi frowned, swallowed the piece of meat in his mouth, smacked his lips, and interrupted his scolding, "I don't know, if you want to eat, just sit down, if you don't want to eat, forget it."

Don't get in the way here. Don't act so righteous. Who are you trying to show off to?

Hua Ciyuan was frightened by her words. His pale face turned redder and he looked extremely angry.

He walked over in three steps, glared at Hua Shi, looked down, and as if to show his power, he raised his hand and slapped the dining table.

"Bang!"

There was a muffled sound.

Hua Ciyuan also took a breath in pain, holding back the pain rising in his palms, and angrily scolded, "Do you think everyone is the same as you! Eating until you're dead! As a girl, you're not afraid of being laughed at! Also, where did you get this meat? Did you steal it? Where did you steal it from?"

Hua Ciyuan pointed at the plate of rabbit meat that was almost eaten up. His eyes seemed to be stinging, so he closed them and asked three questions in a row.

Hua's father's continuous loud scolding made Hua Shi's expression gloomy.

My good mood was ruined.

She really didn't want to argue with him so much. Was the rabbit meat not fragrant enough, or was the fish soup not tasty? Why should she care about someone who seemed to be mentally ill?

Thinking of this, Hua Shi didn't even pay attention to his father and continued to eat with his head down.

He also did not forget to put half a bowl of rabbit meat into Huaying's bowl.

Seeing that Hua Xiao didn't move, as if she was frightened, Hua Shi patted her hands.

The little girl looked over anxiously and met Hua Shi's gaze.

Hua Shi shook his head and signaled her not to pay attention to it.

The world is big, eating is the most important thing. Why bother about so many things?

“You, you!”

Hua Ciyuan saw that he had been scolding Hua Shi for a long time but Hua Shi had no intention of paying any attention to him. He looked a little embarrassed and pointed at her for a long time, unable to utter a word.

The atmosphere in the yard suddenly became eerily silent.

Hua Ciyuan cursed a few more times, but Hua Shi did not respond. He just watched helplessly as the two plates of rabbit meat and a fish were eaten up by the three of them one bite at a time.

Hua Ciyuan held his breath, unable to do anything to her.

“Cough, cough cough…”

Suddenly, bursts of coughing were heard in the main room.

The old and hoarse voice interrupted Hua Ciyuan's anger that was about to be vented.

"Cough! Cough cough!..."
