Chapter 5 The little guy looked at her eagerly

After Hua Shijin disappeared in Lin Haishan and Li refused to find her, she was no longer angry at her for "stealing money".

The next morning, Li found several bags of soybeans from the cupboard, sorted them out and dried them, and then she sat alone in the yard, muttering to herself for a long time. Then she divided the soybeans into bowls and asked Hua Yu and Hua Li to knock on every door and deliver them...

Li gave a bowl of soybeans to everyone who had gone into the mountains to look for someone last night.

The soybeans were harvested from their own fields last year and had been stored in the bottom of the box for more than a year. They were not very precious, but for the Hua family and most families in the village who were short of food, soybeans were a rare food.

Besides, a full bowl is not too little...

Normally, Li was reluctant to take it out to eat, and originally saved it to sell during the winter every year.

Dried soybeans can usually be stored for two to three years. Li would store them for a year and then sell them in the winter of the following year. This was a huge income for the Hua family...

Hua Shi heard Li walking back and forth in the yard early in the morning, muttering something. She must have felt sorry for the soybeans and gave most of them away.

Hua Shi sneaked to the door while Li was not paying attention, waited for Hua Yu and Hua Li to come out, and called them to stop.

"Do my sister a favor and send this to the Xie family compound. You should know Xie Mingchi, right?"

As he spoke, Hua Shi stuffed a handful of loquats into the two of them's hands, and handed over the small basket full of loquats.

Li did not prepare any special thank-you gift for Xie Mingchi bringing her out of the mountain.

Hua Shi thought about it and decided to send the loquats to Xie Mingchi as well.

She also remembered this favor and would repay it next time she could.

Hua Yu looked at the loquat stuffed into his palm, glanced at Hua Shi coldly, and under Hua Shi's gaze, threw the loquat on the ground and crushed it viciously with his feet.

The gloomy-eyed boy said angrily, "Who cares about a piece of crap like you? Did we say we'd help you?"

Eight-year-old Hua Li looked at his brother Hua Yu, then at Hua Shi, and thought about how it was this vicious woman who stole the money the night before, and how his grandmother had beaten his brother.

Xiao Huali became resentful and, imitating Hua Yu, threw the loquat to the ground and stepped on it a few times.

Hua Li said in a childish voice, "That's right, who wants your broken fruit! You vicious woman, we don't want your things!"

When Hua Shi saw the crushed loquats, he felt a little sad.

Come on, why are you wasting food!

Hua Shi was not afraid of the two brats and reached out to grab Hua Yu's ear.

The fifteen-year-old boy had a lame leg due to long-term malnutrition, was hunched over all year round, and was half a head shorter than Hua Shi.

Hua Yu felt a pain behind his ear, and his whole body trembled. He stared at Hua Shi in disbelief, "You!!"

Hua Shi said with a cold face, "You idiot! Don't you know that wasting food is shameful? You can't even fill your stomach, and you still waste food! If you don't want to eat it, just give it back to me. You even stepped on it with your feet. Do you think you can show off your ability by doing this?"

Hua Yu felt like her ears were about to be twisted off. It was painful and numb, and tears came to his eyes in pain. He was furious and said, "Hua Shi! Let me go!!"

Hua Yu pulled Hua Shi's hand with one hand, but because he was holding a bowl of soybeans with the other hand, he couldn't use any strength with one hand. He pulled for a long time but couldn't pull down the hand that was twisting his ear, and his ear was pulled red.

"Hua Yu, do you know you are wrong?" Hua Shi asked coldly.

Since she came here, she didn't care about Hua Yu's various attacks because she had no memory of the original owner.

After knowing the original owner's nature of being lazy, vicious and stupid, it is hard to blame the four brothers and sisters for their resentment towards her, and it is hard to say anything.

After all, it was because of the indulgence of the original owner's grandmother that most of the evil was done by the original owner. She replaced the original owner's identity and accepted it.

I've been putting up with this brat for over a month now! He's hidden a dead snake in her closet, stuffed mice in her quilt, stuffed cockroaches in her shoes... all sorts of weird pranks she's used, she's too lazy to even bother with them...

Now she finally understood. If she continued to act like a coward, and Hua Yu dared to play a prank on her today, falsely accusing her of stealing money and wasting the food she gave him, he would dare to go even further tomorrow!

She had to establish her authority so that Hua Yu wouldn't dare to mess with her again. This brat was full of bad intentions...

The two men confronted each other, which ended when Li pushed open the gate.

In the end, Hua Shi failed to make Hua Yu surrender. Her ears turned red, but Hua Yu refused to say a soft word and stared at her with terrifying and gloomy eyes.

After Li made breakfast, she urged her father Hua Ciyuan to go out because the harvest was not over yet and the rice in the fields was still waiting to be harvested.

"Hua Xiao, what are you doing hiding in the house? Why aren't you leaving? Waiting for someone to come and invite you, right? If you don't finish harvesting the rice in that field to the west tomorrow, I'll skin you alive!"

Mrs. Li was very angry early in the morning. She felt heartbroken because she had saved up soybeans for a year and had to give them away for nothing.

Hua Ciyuan and his eight-year-old sister Hua Xiao, who was still hiding in the house, suffered the consequences.

Hua Shi sat under the eaves and didn't dare to speak. Li glared at her several times.

Hua Xiao pulled his five-year-old brother Hua Ying out of the house, nodded a few times, and went to get the tools from the ground.

Li cursed a few times, then turned to look at the silly Huaying, frowning. After thinking for a moment, she said, "Huaying, you stay home today and watch over your sister. Don't let her go out. Do you understand?"

Huaying didn't understand what Li said, but Li ignored him. She just frowned and said nothing more. She took Hua Xiao out first.

Before Hua Xiao went out, he looked at Hua Ying worriedly several times. The little guy squatted on the ground, as if looking at ants in the sand.
