Chapter 191 Emergency Rescue

Qin Zijin looked around, then turned and left.

She easily found the nurses' locker room, pried open one of the people's lockers with a silver needle, took out a nurse's uniform, changed into it, put on a mask, and then pushed a small cart out of the locker room.

Just as I was leaving, I met a nurse coming in and couldn't help but look at her twice.

Qin Zijin lowered his head and walked quickly all the way to the inpatient department.

Seeing that the target was right in front of her, she felt like a spy, which was actually a bit exciting.

She took a deep breath before pushing the cart over.

As soon as I reached the door, I was stopped, "Who are you? What do you do?"

"I'm here to change the dressing for the patient." Qin Zijin deliberately lowered his voice, sounding a little scared.

The two men looked at each other before retracting their guns. "Hurry up, don't stay in there too long."

Qin Zijin breathed a sigh of relief when he heard this.

The bet was right!

She nodded and pushed the door open and went in.

The ward was very quiet, with only the beeping sounds of instruments. On the bed, a haggard old man lay there, breathing weakly, and his heart rate and pulse were all far below normal. It looked like he might die at any time.

There was no one else in the ward, so Qin Zijin was completely relieved. He let go of the cart, walked over quickly, grabbed the old man's hand and took his pulse.

The pulse is weak and the situation is indeed very dangerous.

If she hadn't come, the patient would have died in less than an hour.

After calming down, Qin Zijin lowered her voice and spoke to the old man on the bed, "Old man, I have no ill intentions. I am here to save someone. The situation was urgent and I didn't have time to explain it to you. I hope you will believe me."

As he spoke, he quickly exchanged the medicine for treatment from the system, opened the old man's mouth and stuffed it in.

The old man seemed to sense something and opened his eyes with difficulty, trying to see the person in front of him clearly.

Qin Zijin glanced secretly at the door and whispered in the old man's ear, "Take the medicine, otherwise you will die in forty minutes at most. I won't hurt you, and I don't have the courage to do so."

The old man probably heard it as well, and his strong desire to survive made him swallow with difficulty.

I swallowed the pill in my mouth.

The pills are of course not a cure, they can just give the old man a breath of fresh air and allow him to live a few more hours.

As if it were a last breath, after the pill went down his throat, the old man felt a warm current spreading throughout his limbs and bones, and he seemed to have strength again.

He slowly opened his eyes, and his originally lifeless gaze suddenly flashed with brilliance and fell on Qin Zijin.

The voice was hoarse and low, like a sharp knife scraping across a gong, somewhat harsh and unpleasant. "Who are you?"

"An old man asked me to save you. It's not easy to save you. Listen, I'm only temporarily helping you stay alive for ten hours. If I don't continue to treat you after ten hours, you will still die."

"I have to leave now. If anyone outside finds out about the problem, they might just shoot me."

"If you believe me, send someone to find me at Qin's Private Kitchen on Haoju Road in Xinhai District."

Qin Zijin finished his words quickly, turned around to push the cart, and left without any hesitation.

The old man gradually regained his strength, and by the time he was able to sit up, Qin Zijin had already left.

He looked down at his hands in some surprise, and now he felt as if he had recovered.

But thinking about what the woman had just said, that he had only been kept alive for ten hours, and would still die if he did not continue treatment, his heart couldn't help but clench.

He took a deep breath before pressing the call button on the bedside.

The shrill ringing of the bell made everyone feel as if they were facing a great enemy.

Several doctors and nurses rushed over in a hurry.

The guard at the door still blocked them, "You can't go in."

"Get out of the way! If something happens to Mr. Su, can you afford it?" The leading doctor, who looked to be in his early fifties, with gray hair at the temples, was full of imposingness and shouted coldly.

The guard frowned, "Didn't your people just come to change the medicine?"

"What do you mean by changing the medicine? Mr. Su's body has reached its limit and there is no way to save him. We only have less than an hour left. Why should we change the medicine for him?" The doctor cursed with a sullen face.

The two immediately realized something was wrong.

A nurse just came in and said she was going to change the dressing.

Not long after I left, the alarm inside sounded.

The two men's faces changed drastically. They quickly opened the door and let the doctor in. At the same time, they also entered the ward.

Everyone was shocked when they entered.

The old man who the doctor had just said was dying was now rosy-cheeked and full of energy, sitting on the hospital bed. How could he look like he was dying? He was clearly full of energy.

"Mr. Su?" The doctor was a little shocked. He walked over quickly and took a look at the monitoring equipment. He found that all the data had returned to normal. In fact, Mr. Su's physical condition was no different from that of a normal young man in his early thirties!

How is this possible?

It had been clearly determined during the first aid that the old man's body functions had deteriorated and his body was in decline. He had at most two hours to live.

How come it suddenly got better in the blink of an eye?

Even if it was a last gasp, such a situation would not have occurred.

"Sir?" The two guards looked nervous.
