"Sir, the person is here." The two men brought Du Mei'e to Su Zhenhai and Qin Zijin, and handed the schoolbag in their hands to Qin Zijin.
Qin Zijin took it, and Du Mei'e said angrily, "I said you're almost there! Do you know who my man is? You dare to cause trouble for our family, aren't you afraid that I will retaliate against you later?"
"I'm telling you, your daughter is fine anyway. It's better for everyone if this matter is settled. If you continue to make a fuss, you won't get any good results."
Du Mei'e glanced at Su Zhenhai, who was standing beside her with a stern face, and felt a little scared. She deliberately moved closer to Qin Zijin and warned him in a low voice.
Now she could only pray that Qin Zijin was really a country boy, and would give up investigating the matter after being frightened, so that she could get away.
If Qin Zijin insisted on getting to the bottom of the matter, she was really scared because there were so many big shots at the scene, and any one of them could kill their whole family.
"Old Su, what's going on? Has the murderer been found?" Before Qin Zijin could respond to Du Mei'e, another big shot walked over slowly.
This place has been temporarily cordoned off by the guards. Parents of students and some guests who came here to attend the party were temporarily blocked outside. Apart from Qin Zijin's family, only Su Zhenhai and a few of his men, as well as several teachers from the kindergarten were present.
The man looked to be in his early forties, wearing a black Mao suit, with a square face and a look of majesty.
Su Zhenhai glanced at him and said hello, "Gongshi, the person has been found."
Gong Zhengyi raised his eyebrows in surprise, glanced at Du Mei'e who was standing in front of Qin Zijin, and nodded thoughtfully.
Du Mei'e's legs felt weak, but she still mustered the courage to speak. "Secretary Su, what you're saying is that you're now convinced it was me? Where's the evidence? You know, if there's no evidence, you're deliberately slandering me."
"I know I had some conflicts with this lady before, but it was just a few words, nothing serious. I have absolutely no motivation to do such a thing, and it won't benefit me in any way."
Su Zhenhai just looked at her coldly, as if he was looking at a corpse.
Qin Zijin couldn't help but chuckle when he heard this, and looked at Du Mei'e, "No benefits? I think there are quite a lot of benefits for you to do this."
"You, what do you mean?" Du Mei'e became a little panicked as soon as Qin Zijin opened her mouth.
Qin Zijin's lips curled up and he took a step closer to Du Mei'e. "Didn't you just threaten me arrogantly? You dare to threaten me like that in front of Mr. Su. What do you do behind his back? It's not too much, right?"
"I'm actually very curious. What kind of director is your husband? Why is he so powerful? Is he more powerful than the mayor or the secretary? Does that give you the guts to act so recklessly in such an occasion?"
"As for you saying you want evidence, I will give you evidence."
As he spoke, Qin Zijin opened the schoolbag in his hand and took out a pair of dancing shoes from it.
The light pink dance shoes have white soles and look quite ordinary.
Du Mei'e's heart was beating like a rocket, but she still insisted, "Isn't this just a pair of dancing shoes? Who doesn't have them? These are Minmin's shoes, how can this be considered evidence?"
"Your Minmin's shoes?" Qin Zijin's smile grew even brighter, and she threw the shoes in her hand directly at Du Mei'e's face. "Then open your dog eyes and take a closer look. Whose name is embroidered on the shoes?"
"My dance shoes are specially made. There is only one pair in the whole country. They are definitely not the same as others. There is a Clivia and my daughter's name embroidered on the shoes."
Du Mei'e's face turned pale. She picked up the shoes tremblingly, opened them, and then fell to the ground in fright.
I saw that on the shoes, there was indeed an orchid bud embroidered on it, and the words "Si Meng" were written next to it.
"This, this must be someone framing me. I didn't do it. It wasn't me." Du Mei'e hurriedly explained.
"Frame you? Who do you think you are? Do you need someone to frame you? It seems that I am too low-key, so everyone thinks I am easy to bully. Today I will use you to make an example of you." Qin Zijin stepped forward and squatted in front of Du Mei'e.
Du Mei'e was so frightened that her whole body was shaking. Looking at Qin Zijin's eyes, she felt inexplicably frightened.
"You poisoned the needle on this shoe. You are so vicious. If I didn't know some medical skills, my daughter's legs would be completely disabled. Since you want to destroy my daughter because of a small conflict, then I will naturally repay you well." Qin Zijin leaned close to Du Mei'e's ear. His voice was obviously very gentle, but inexplicably carried a bone-chilling coldness.
Du Mei'e was so frightened that she couldn't speak.
There was a flash of silver light in Qin Zijin's hand, and Du Mei'e felt as if she was pricked by a needle. The pain soon faded away, as if nothing had happened.
She was still puzzled when Qin Zijin stood up and spoke to Su Zhenhai without turning around, "Mr. Su, I'm not going to discuss this privately. I want to get to the bottom of this. Not only did she damage my daughter's shoes, she also put a needle in them. The needle was coated with the juice of the weeping angelica. Once this juice enters the wound, it will cause it to fester and not heal. It is also somewhat toxic. If I hadn't discovered it and treated it in time, Mengmeng would not only lose her leg, but her life would also be in danger."
"Intentional murder is not a minor crime. If the law cannot give me justice, I will consider appealing until someone can give me a satisfactory result."
