Chapter 20 Moving

Tian Cai placed two rattan baskets, one in front of her and the other behind her, with bamboo racks that she had disassembled tied to them. They were both used to dry herbs. She walked down the mountain carrying a chopping board and a bamboo winnowing basket in her hands.

She searched every corner of the cabin and even the beams. She shouldn't have missed anything. She won't be back for a while.

Both wicker baskets were stuffed full, and the things inside were overflowing as if they were about to drown her. However, there was a bamboo curtain tied behind the wicker baskets, and her hands on both sides were not idle.

Tian Cai looked in the direction of the sound and soon saw a tall man emerging from the bushes.

The man was stunned when he saw that she was covered with things, then he looked down at the things scattered on the ground and understood what was going on.

He said nothing, took off the bamboo basket filled with firewood behind him, bundled the firewood again and put it on his back, pushed the bamboo basket towards Tian Cai, turned around and left.
