The young nurse looked at him and knew that these people were anxious because they couldn't see the patient's condition and always wanted to do something, so she didn't refuse.
The two of them ran all the way to the Chinese medicine clinic. When they arrived, the man realized that they were in a Chinese medicine pharmacy. His brows immediately frowned.
The nurse handed the prescription over through the window. The doctor who dispensed the medicine immediately recognized Tian Cai's handwriting and asked, "Did Doctor Tian prescribe this?"
"It's an emergency, please hurry up, there are people waiting for help over there!"
The doctor understood the recipe as soon as he saw the first few herbs and quickly prescribed the medicine. "Shall I boil it for you?"
"Yes, yes, that's what I mean." The young nurse nodded vigorously.
"How to use Chinese medicine? Aren't there any hemostatic needles or something?" The patient's family member who was following nearby suddenly asked.
The young nurse understood the patient's family's feelings and patiently explained, "The doctor who prescribed the medicine is very good at stopping bleeding. She's getting an injection right now. You can take the medicine when you get home. I guarantee there won't be any delays."
The patient's elder brother was skeptical, but his sister was in someone else's hands now, so whether he believed it or not, he had to rely on someone else to save her.
The doctor who dispensed the medicine knew that the operating room needed it urgently, so he boiled the medicine himself. Before it even cooled down, the young nurse ran back with the medicine jar.
The pharmacist yelled from the back, "Don't forget to bring the medicine jar back to me later!"
"I know—"
Afraid that the young nurse couldn't hold it steadily, the patient's older brother took the medicine jar from her not long after running out. The two of them hurried over and finally arrived at the door of the operating room, panting.
The young nurse thanked him, took the medicine jar and went into the operating room. The patient's body was already full of silver needles, and the blood flow in his body had obviously decreased a lot, with only slight bleeding left.
Even though the room was filled with the smell of blood, Tian Cai could still smell the medicine as soon as the nurse came in. She immediately turned around and said, "Find something to cool down first, about a bowl's worth, and bring it to me."
After coming all the way here, the medicine was no longer as hot as before. The young nurse poured the medicine into an enamel pot and handed it to me.
Tian Cai smelled the medicine and confirmed that it was correct before feeding it all to the patient.
After taking the medicine, about half an hour later, Tian Cai took the woman's pulse again and made sure that the bleeding had stopped before removing the needle from her body.
"It's all right."
Zhao Ling had been watching from the side. She saw with her own eyes that the girl stopped the patient's bleeding with just a few inconspicuous silver needles. Now that she heard that there was no problem, she breathed a sigh of relief.
If something really happened to the patient in her care, she felt she would not be able to face the family members who were anxiously waiting outside the door.
The subsequent cleaning work had nothing to do with Tian Cai. She helped and left immediately.
"Thank you, Dr. Tian!"
Several people from the obstetrics department took over the remaining work and still did not forget to say hello to Tian Cai who was leaving.
Tian Cai waved to them and went out alone.
As soon as she walked out of the operating room and took off her mask, her family members surrounded her.
At first glance, she is a young female doctor. From the noise just coming from inside, it seems that this female doctor has a very high status.
"Comrade, how is my daughter?" a middle-aged woman came forward and asked anxiously.
"We're out of danger now. We'll be out soon after we've cleaned up."
"That's great!" Several people breathed a sigh of relief after hearing this.
I can finally let go of the worry that had been hanging in my heart.
Tian Cai nodded to a few people and turned to leave.
Sure enough, more than ten minutes later, the door of the operating room opened, and the bed was pushed out. Zhao Ling also came out and said that the patient was fine.
The family members expressed their gratitude again.
The blood under the girl was so abundant that it was free of charge. It scared the few people so much that their legs almost went weak.
"You don't need to thank us this time. If you want to thank anyone, it should be Doctor Tian who just came out. It was her credit that the bleeding was stopped. We just helped to clean it up." Zhao Ling said very calmly. She had no intention of taking credit from Tian Cai and told the patient's family the whole story.
It was not until the patient was pushed into the ward and settled down that the family members realized what the doctor had just said.
"Does she mean that the girl who just came out is the one who saved our daughter?" the patient's mother asked uncertainly.
The patient's father-in-law said, "That's what I heard. The medicine just brought in is for saving lives. As expected, in critical moments, the things our ancestors used are the most useful. Those mycophenolates can't be used anymore."
As soon as I heard his tone, I knew that he was a person who highly advocated traditional Chinese medicine.
"I'll talk to their dean later. There aren't many such outstanding young comrades. We need to give him a good reward. It's not easy for military doctors like them to get promoted."
The patient's father also followed suit, and from the tone of his voice, one could tell that he was not from an ordinary family.
Afterwards, they discussed going back to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department to thank the doctor and bring some canned fruits and other things with them.
Tian Cai was busy in the obstetrics department for nearly an hour. When she came back, she happened to see a familiar figure walking out.
She came from the other end of the corridor. The man came out directly from the clinic and walked out. He could see Tian Cai just by turning his head slightly, but she seemed to be caught up in some emotion. She just walked with her head down and didn't look over here.
Tian Cai didn't say anything, but she was still quite surprised that Wu Deying appeared here.
So Tian Cai walked to the nurse's station and whispered to a nurse she knew well, "What was that person doing here just now?"
The nurse's name is He Xiaolian, and she is a fan of Tian Cai. She had a lot of pimples behind her ears before, and they kept coming back without getting better. Tian Cai personally made medicine for her, and after applying it for three days, all the pimples disappeared.
"The woman in the plaid shirt?"
Tian Cai nodded.
He Xiaolian curled her lips and said, "Don't look at her age, she is here to pray for a child."
Without waiting for Tian Cai to continue asking, He Xiaolian continued, "She was treated by Doctor Zhou before. I heard from someone that a friend of Doctor Zhou recommended her here. She said she had been treated at the First Hospital for over a year but to no avail, so she switched to Traditional Chinese Medicine."
"You don't know this person. She looks quite normal. She answers you when you talk to her. But she has that aloof air about her that really makes it hard to like her."
"I'll teach you and you'll understand, hey," He Xiaolian said, straightening her neck, half-closed her eyelids, pinching her throat and imitating Wu Deying to say a few words.
"Well, put it here!"
"You can go out now."
"Please help me close the door."
"Thanks."
Every word he said was fine, but the tone and expression made it particularly uncomfortable.
"That's it. Why is she acting like that? She's supposedly a university professor, and that's how a university professor acts? It's like I need her help. I don't know what she's thinking. She's always so reserved even when talking to Doctor Zhou. It's so tiring."
Tian Cai couldn't help laughing when she saw her like that. Others didn't know, but she knew very well how Wu Deying spoke.
