Chapter 120- Meet Again
"Have you encountered this kind of thing often recently?" Shi Feiye couldn't help but ask Qin Si.
"It's okay. Before the holiday, people kept coming up to me and saying things like the Qin family was bankrupt. I thought they were lying, but who knew it was actually true? But it doesn't matter. My uncle won't be able to get rich forever anyway. Whatever they say, they'll regret it sooner or later."
"Then were you hurt?" Shi Feiye knew that the malice of children was terrifying, and school violence was a common occurrence. The ways children tortured each other were so numerous that even adults couldn't believe it. If Qin Si had been hurt, it might have been a lifelong psychological scar.
"It's good enough that I don't bully others. How could they possibly bully me? Ah Ye, you underestimate me too much. Don't worry, I'm not that stupid. If someone dares to go too far, I won't tolerate it. Besides, the school won't let them go too far." Qin Si patted Shi Feiye's hand, signaling her to calm down.
The three of them continued to wander around the Science and Technology Museum, but few people came near them. Qin Si would occasionally roll his eyes at some children, and Shi Feiye knew that this child had also betrayed Qin Si.
She didn't know if Qin Si was as indifferent as he pretended, but if she had encountered something like this when she was young, she would probably have felt very upset. On second thought, Qin Si, as a child, had already experienced so much trouble, so Qin Bulu, as the central figure and unable to hide, was likely to face even more cold stares and indifference.
Alas, life in the adult world is anything but easy. When you succeed, you're constantly busy and overwhelmed. When you fail, you have to handle the aftermath, braving the vicissitudes of life and striving to make a comeback. Shi Feiye couldn't help but feel even more distressed for the two people around him, and at the same time, he strengthened his own resolve to be a contented commoner in this life.
Qin Si was only concerned with his own happiness, and never imagined that Shi Feiye could think so far ahead with just a simple matter. He dragged Shi Feiye all the way to the fourth floor, where all the inventions made by the children themselves were displayed. They looked particularly interesting.
Qin Si eagerly pulled Shi Feiye in front of what he had made, and looked at Shi Feiye expectantly: "This is what I made last semester. How is it? Isn't it interesting?"
In front of him was a self-service generator connected to a small fan. Shi Feiye couldn't figure out how it worked, but he saw Qin Si casually press a button, and all the components started running, and the fan soon followed suit.
Qin Si turned on the fan and faced towards Shi Feiye and Qin Bulu: "How is it? Is it very cool?"
A palm-sized fan, no matter how cool it is, can only provide a limited amount of cooling. However, Shi Feiye was very respectful and praised: "Yes, it is very cool. What's the principle behind this? Why is it so cool?"
Qin Si raised his head proudly. "That's right. I used electrolytes to generate energy to drive the fan. Our teacher said I was the best in the class."
"Who said you're the best? I'm the best, how shameless!" A familiar voice came over, and Shi Feiye turned around to see the chubby kid he'd met at the playground before.
