Chapter 37- Watching the Laugh
Qin Buzhu nodded, turned around, and walked away with long legs. Shi Feiye, wearing an apron, continued to work on her own things. She was already back later than usual, and if she didn't hurry up, dinner would be late again. She also wanted to finish her manuscript in the evening.
The meal was ready and on the table. Shi Feiye went to knock on Qin Buzhu's door. Qin Buzhu let go of the mouse, closed the pages, and then got up to eat. The two of them usually had little to talk about, and Shi Feiye hadn't felt like actively starting a conversation. So far, everyone had been busy with their own things, occasionally exchanging a few words when something they shared was mentioned. Unless something unexpected happened, the motto "Don't talk while eating" was usually followed throughout the meal.
But today was an exception. As soon as Qin Buzhu sat down, he said to Shi Feiye, "Someone will come to install the dishwasher tomorrow."
