Chapter 6 - Intersection
Almost two hours later, Shi Feiye clapped her hands happily and drank the coffee on the table in one gulp. The online literature in this world was a little behind her original world, and she could rewrite all her previous works in a better way in this world. It was simply wonderful.
She specifically researched two websites and decided to open two accounts at once. As long as her manuscripts were accepted, she would diligently update them, and her life would not be a problem.
She opened the folder and was about to create a new file when she heard the door open. Shi Feiye hesitated for a moment, then jumped out of bed, kicking off her slippers and running out. She had no choice but to discover this morning that the door to the house hadn't been locked last night. The boss must have been so used to living in a villa that he'd forgotten he needed to lock his door himself.
Qin Buzhu paused in his clothes-hanging movements when he saw her come out. Shi Feiye greeted him and ran to lock the door.
"I'm back! I just realized this morning that the door wasn't locked last night. We used to have someone in charge of security at the villa, but now they don't. Doors like this have to be locked at night, otherwise thieves can pry it open."
"Oh, I see."
The two of them were basically like strangers, so Shi Feiye had to find a topic to talk about: "Have you eaten yet?"
"have eaten.."
"I bought some daily necessities today. If you need anything, just tell me and I'll buy it later."
“There’s nothing missing at the moment.”
End of topic.
What else could he say? Shi Feiye thought for three seconds and decisively decided to leave the scene: "If there's nothing else, I'll go back to my room. If you need anything, call me."
"good.."
Qin Buzhu only surveyed the room after Shi Feiye closed the door. He also took a stroll through the kitchen and bathroom. There were quite a few new things in the house today, giving it a more lively feel than before. There were even small potted plants on the windowsill, and the dining table was fully stocked with tissue paper, tea sets, and flower arrangements. The toothpick holder was even in the shape of a cute character, giving it a very lively feel.
With a hint of ambiguous smile on his lips, Qin Buzhu looked up at Shi Feiye's room. This woman actually planned to live here. It was like she had become a completely different person.
Shi Feiye had no idea what he was doing. She was busy organizing her computer. Cannon Fodder had worked hard in high school and gotten into a key university, but he'd basically just muddled through university. His computer skills were a mess. This laptop was incredibly slow. She had to clean out everything inside and see what Cannon Fodder had been doing.
I flipped through the folder and found a photo folder. There were many subfolders in it. Most of them were selfies of me, a small part were photos of my parents, another part was photos of university activities, and there were also homework photos and collections. The last folder had a name that was a bunch of gibberish.
Shi Feiye clicked on it and saw, wow, it was a photo of the cannon fodder and a man. The man looked like a social elite and was quite handsome, but Shi Feiye didn't like his appearance at first sight. He felt like a gentleman scum, especially when he smiled, which gave people the impression that he had bad intentions.
Seeing the two of them being so intimate, Shi Feiye's soul trembled. She quickly looked up the date, but luckily, it was all before the wedding. She was scared to death.
After keeping a few less intimate photos, Shi Feiye quickly deleted the rest. She had already remembered that this man was Cannon Fodder's former college boyfriend, a wealthy second-generation man. But they'd been apart for so long, there was absolutely no point in keeping these things. It was a good thing the boss didn't make a fuss, otherwise, if they were discovered, it would be a ticking time bomb.
