Chapter 61- Young Aunt
Qin Si's tender face wore a sorrowful expression that didn't suit his age. "I'm still a baby, and I have to shoulder the burden of supporting the family? But what can I do? I'm only in the third grade. Otherwise, uncle, why don't you send me to be a child model? After all, I've learned how to walk the catwalk, and I'm handsome, so I think someone would be willing to take me."
"That's impossible, because you have no background at all. How do you think so many obviously ugly children can become models? They not only look at appearance but also family background. Unfortunately, you don't have any family background now." Qin Bulu poured cold water on the child.
Qin Si changed into the shoes that Master Feiye rarely wore, and walked towards the bathroom with a clattering sound. As he walked, he turned back and said to Qin Bulu, "Uncle, you are lying. You must know a lot of people. You have helped so many people in the past. Let them help you."
"Then you have to remember something: it's easy to add icing on the cake, but it's hard to help someone in need. When you help someone, don't expect them to help you in the future. It's good enough if they don't kick you when you're down." Qin Buzhu followed him into the bathroom, and the voice came from the bathroom.
"What should we do? Will we have to live here forever and never be able to eat delicious food or wear beautiful clothes again? The kids at school told me that I might have to transfer schools soon. Is that true?"
"That's right. You'll have to live here with me during the holidays. I'm afraid the food and clothes you used to have won't be available anymore. As for transferring schools, do you want to?"
The child's voice disappeared for a few seconds, and then he said with certainty: "I think my classmates were making fun of me in a subtle way, thinking I didn't know. I heard everything."
"But you won't transfer schools. You still have one semester's tuition left." Qin Buzhu brought Qin Si out and sat down on the sofa in the living room. Shi Feiye had just pretended to be typing, but now he couldn't ignore it anymore. He quietly took out the oranges and placed them on the table in front of Qin Si and Qin Buzhu.
"There's no other fruit at home, so we'll just have to make do with this for now."
Qin Si ignored her and said stubbornly to Qin Bulu, "But they are all talking about me. It's annoying."
"When you're weak, it's normal to be criticized and even laughed at. But even if you become successful and hold a high position, you'll still be criticized and even laughed at, and the situation will be even worse than it is now. If you're strong enough, they'll avoid you and won't say anything to you."
Qin Buyu peeled an orange for Qin Si as he spoke. When Qin Si reached out to take the orange, he tilted his head slightly towards Shi Feiye and said to Qin Si, "You haven't called anyone yet."
Qin Si turned his head to look at Shi Feiye, who turned back to look at him after hearing what Qin Buru said. He opened his mouth but paused, hesitated for a moment, and then asked Qin Buru: "Then what should I call her?"
Without asking Qin Buzhu to answer, he began to calculate: "You are my father's cousin, which means you are my uncle. My uncle's wife should be called aunt, so I should call her little aunt?"
Shi Feiye shuddered when she heard this name. It was such an unfashionable name. She immediately tried to get rid of it:
"Or just call me Ah Ye. Auntie or something like that sounds too awkward."
She didn't want to listen, and Qin Si didn't want to shout either. Since she objected, Qin Si immediately followed up with a snake stick: "Okay, Aye."
