Chapter 77 - Animation
This is probably the pleasure of the forbidden zone, a bit like when I was a kid and finished my homework well, my parents allowed me to go out and play for a while. I didn't really do anything, but I was just so happy.
While eating, Shi Feiye discovered that Qin Bulu had never touched any snacks. She was still embarrassed:
"Would you like to try some? Actually, snacks aren't that bad, and the additives are all within safe limits. Plus, you don't usually eat them, so it's okay to have a little now and then. It's not that serious, and it won't cause any problems."
"You eat it." Qin Bulu didn't refuse her directly, but the meaning was already obvious. Shi Feiye had no choice but to eat her own, but then she said, "Would you like some water? I brought some mineral water." As she spoke, she grabbed her backpack, took out a bottle of mineral water and handed it to her.
Qin Buzhu paused for a second before taking it: "Next time I buy it, buy that Evian bottled water."
"Oh..." Shi Feiye sighed silently inwardly. The big boss was broke, yet he still drank branded water. Who knew how different it was from other water? Could a few dozen yuan worth of water be better than a two or three yuan one? They were all mineral water. Besides, she'd bought him a five yuan bottle of water just to avoid him being picky. Hadn't she seen him drink a two yuan bottle herself?
After a short rest, Qin Si wanted to go to the movies. The three of them headed towards the place where the cartoons were being shown. Qin Si kept chattering along the way:
"Last time we came here, we planned to go see a movie, but my parents were in a hurry, so we didn't get to see any. I wanted to see what the differences were between the animations here and other movie theaters, and today I finally got the chance. My classmates said the movies here are better, so I was really curious."
How big of a difference could there be? It's just a difference in mentality. I guess this child will be disappointed later. Shi Feiye shook his head inwardly. The result of a child being too smart is that nothing surprises him because everything is expected.
As expected, Qin Si was quite happy when they were about to go in, but after looking for a while, he was completely bored. He pulled Shi Feiye and Qin Buru out, and after they left, he kept complaining:
"What Zhang Longsi said is totally wrong. This movie is not much different from the ones I usually watch. I was so excited just now. It's all a lie. He must have tricked me into coming here to waste my time. How despicable! I'll deal with him when I get to school."
"It can't be that much. Maybe the kids just think it's really good. Everyone has their own preferences." Shi Feiye was really worried that he would go and find someone, only to be told, "It's really good to watch it with your parents." That would be like rubbing salt into the child's heart.
"Oh, that's right. You have no talent, but you think this thing looks good." Qin Si's words were full of contempt, and Qin Buzhu knocked him on the head:
"Speak nicely. It's rude to talk about others behind their backs."
Touching the back of his head that had been hit, Qin Si's expression straightened up, his contempt gone, and he became that cute little boy again. However, his eyes looked strange, and Shi Feiye couldn't help asking, "What are you thinking about?"
The little guy actually let out a note of regret. "Ah~ I just thought that since everyone thinks movies like this are good, Zhang Longsi probably hasn't seen anything good. When we get back to school, I must tell everyone to treat him better. We can't look down on him just because we've seen more than him. After all, our teacher taught us to be friendly to our classmates."
