Chapter 91 - Thick Black Theory
By the next week, Qin Bulu had indeed asked Shi Feiye to prepare to rent a new house.
"Uncle, will I have my own room in the future? I hope to have a bookshelf, and the bed doesn't have to be too big, just enough for sleeping." Qin Si chattered non-stop while waiting for the moving truck to arrive.
"Yes..." Qin Buzhu stared at his phone, and his replies were always concise and to the point.
Qin Si didn't mind at all. He finally saw the hope of sleeping in his own room. How could he not be happy? "Yeah, I knew you were the best, Uncle Ye. We are going to move to a bigger house. Are you happy?"
"Happy, why not?" Shi Feiye didn't really feel much. After all, it wasn't her house, so it didn't matter to her where she lived. She had lived in a two-bedroom, two-living-room apartment since she was a child. As an only child, her parents had always spoiled her without noticing, so she didn't have any desire for a bigger house.
As for people, if they have never lacked love, have never suffered from lack of money, and are not the type with a strong personality, then it is probably difficult for them to have a strong desire for material things.
Shi Feiye is a typical example of someone who may not seem wealthy, but actually lives a happy life. To be honest, she even thinks that living in a small house is both convenient and cozy.
But warmth is one thing, and the reality is another. We can't let Qin Si live with Qin Bu Ru forever, right?
"I'm also very happy. I'm going to earn money to buy lots of books. There's not even a proper study room here, and I've been holding it in for a long time."
This was little Qin Si's biggest complaint. The house was too small, there was no room for anything, and since it was rented, Qin Bulu didn't give him a separate study room like he had in his previous villa. He had nothing to do in his free time and was forced to watch those childish cartoons, which almost bored him to death.
"I noticed you've been watching cartoons before, haven't you? So you love reading so much." Shi Feiye hadn't noticed any signs of Qin Si feeling suffocated.
"I only watched it because I had nothing to do. I don't like such childish cartoons. But other students in the class do. My uncle said that people can be smart, but if their abilities don't allow it, they must not isolate themselves too much from the crowd, otherwise they will be ostracized when something goes wrong."
Oh my god, the boss is indeed the boss. Qin Si is so young, but the boss has already taught him such profound principles?
"What else did I say?" Qin Buzhu glanced at Qin Si and said in a light tone.
Qin Si was horrified. "Ah, uncle, you also said that we should treat everything as it should be. I shouldn't have been so smart as to imply that other students were stupid. Even if I thought so in my heart, I should have forgotten it. I should have hypnotized myself that my classmates were all good."
If there was tea in her mouth right now, Shi Feiye felt like she would spit it out. My goodness, a little brat in elementary school was actually being taught this. Why did she feel like she was such a naive person when she was little? She only figured this out when she was in high school.
"Read a book." Qin Buzhu casually pulled a book out of the package and handed it to Qin Si. Qin Si took it obediently and opened it without even glancing at the cover. Shi Feiye glanced at it and happened to see the title of the book - "The Art of Thick Black".
