Chapter 22 - Manuscript Accepted

Chapter 22 - Manuscript Accepted

Qin Buzhu heard the noise outside and came out after washing his hands: "What happened?"

"My novel has passed the preliminary review. Once it passes the second and final reviews, it will become some small money." Shi Feiye was in a good mood and blurted out without thinking. Qin Buzhu looked at her sparkling eyes that seemed to be waiting for praise, and his expression softened slightly:

"Really? Congratulations then."

"Congratulations, congratulations." Shi Feiye smiled brightly, tilting her head, looking quite adorable. After saying that, she ignored Qin Buzhu and immersed herself in her novel, continuing to type. A quick glance at her told you she was full of energy.

Qin Buzhu returned to the bathroom, frowning slightly, thinking that no matter how hard a person pretended, he could not fake such a pure look. Now Shi Feiye's eyes no longer had the lust, greed, confusion and depravity they once had. All those negative energies seemed to have disappeared together. Could a person suddenly undergo such a big change, so big that he seemed to have become another person?

Unfortunately, no one could give him an answer to this matter, so he simply stopped thinking about it. After washing up, he went out. Before leaving, he looked at Shi Feiye. She was still immersed in her novel, with a smile on her face, as if she was very happy.

Qin Buzhu decided to investigate. He didn't want to waste any more time and energy on a problem that should have been resolved long ago. If she truly came to her senses and was willing to change, then it wouldn't matter if he kept her. After all, she was his wife in name only, and she hadn't done anything that would cross his boundaries.

Shi Feiye was completely unaware of Qin Bulu's decision. She was still rejoicing over the fact that one of her novels had passed preliminary review, but before she could even finish her celebration, another novel passed preliminary review on another website. As the saying goes, "Good fortune comes to you when you're at home." Thinking of the small sums of money that would soon flow towards her, she felt incredibly happy.

She always felt that the money from selling things wasn't hers. It was what Boss Qin had bought for Cannon Fodder. Now that Cannon Fodder was gone, it should be considered Boss Qin's money. The reason she wanted to buy a house and put it in her own name was because she knew Boss Qin wouldn't argue with her about it. If something went wrong with Boss Qin in the future, at least they would have a place to stay.

She had no plans to occupy the house; she would use her own money to pay off the mortgage. By then, the house would belong to both of them. If her royalties increased in the future, she could save up enough to buy another one. If Mr. Qin wanted the house, he would consider it as money he owed her, and he could pay her back slowly over time. She certainly wouldn't demand the money back, so she could just consider it a way of repaying Mr. Qin for not abandoning her now.

The subsequent plans were clearly arranged by Shi Feiye. She happily opened the items for sale and bought some. Not bad, not bad, she sold a lot more. In the afternoon, she called someone to pick up the items. The courier was embarrassed:

"Ms. Shi, have you opened an online store? These bags look really good. If possible, could you sell me one for a low price? I'm planning to give it to my girlfriend as a gift."

Shi Feiye was stunned and waved her hands repeatedly: "I'm sorry, I don't have an online store, I'm just shipping for a friend. The prices of her bags don't seem cheap, they seem to be over ten thousand. I can't make the decision with such a large amount of money. If you need anything, I can help you ask."

The delivery guy was surprised: "Over ten thousand, my God, these bags must be luxury goods, right?"
