Cheng Yuesheng leaned on Qin Heque's arm and soon fell asleep. Ever since she entered this body, she felt easily sleepy with the slightest exertion. Although she had been working hard to improve her physique, the results seemed minimal. Before she sprained her ankle, she had gone for morning runs with Qin Heque, but every time she came back from a run and had breakfast, she would go back to sleep.
Qin Heque looked at the top of her head. Her hair was a little messy and he gently picked it apart with his fingers.
Cheng Yuesheng was sleeping very soundly and didn't feel Qin Heque's movements at all.
Looking at her unconscious face, Qin Heque bent his fingers slightly and placed them on her delicate and smooth face, gently stroking it. Her face was a little cold, lower than the temperature of his hands.
Qin Heque's eyes darkened. He felt that maybe he should take Cheng Yuesheng for regular checkups, otherwise he would not be able to rest assured.
When we returned to the manor, it was already dark.

When Cheng Yuesheng and his friends returned to the manor, dinner had just been prepared.
Aunt Ming and the other servants of the manor hurried out to greet him. "Finally you're back. Fortunately, you're okay."
"I'm sorry to have worried you."
"Dinner is ready. You must be hungry after all this time." After Aunt Ming said that, she asked someone to bring out dinner.
After sitting down, Aunt Ming said, "Miss Shengsheng helped with dinner tonight, so you should eat more, sir."
Qin Heque was a little curious. He looked at Cheng Yuesheng who was sitting next to him and asked, "What did Shengsheng help with?"
"I didn't do anything, I just helped out."
Old Master Qin smiled and said, "Shengsheng was very active today, always wanting to help out. If her foot hadn't healed yet, I would definitely not stop her and let her show her kindness."
"Grandpa Qin, I'm just helping out within my ability. It's not what you said." Cheng Yuesheng denied.
Qin Heque looked at Cheng Yuesheng's somewhat embarrassed face with gentle eyes, and said with a smile: "Let's eat first. Aunt Ming, you don't have to be busy, go eat too."
"Okay, then we'll go down first." Aunt Ming said, and took the others away.
There were only a few of them and Butler Feng left in the restaurant. Butler Feng had served Mr. Qin for many years, and in the old man's heart, his position was no longer just that of a butler, but more of a friend.
After dinner, Qin Heque told them about the car accident. It seemed to be an accident, but it caused a serious rear-end collision of multiple vehicles.
Old Master Qin still seemed unsure about what he said and asked again, "Are you sure it was just an accident?"
Qin Heque paused for a moment and replied, "Grandpa, if you're worried, I can have someone check it out."
The grandfather and grandson looked at each other in silence.
Cheng Yuesheng didn't quite understand why Mr. Qin was so suspicious about the cause of the accident. His eyes moved back and forth between the grandfather and grandson.
"Grandpa, Brother Que, I'm a little tired. I'll go back to my room first." Cheng Yuesheng stood up and was about to leave. She felt that maybe she should give them some private space, and perhaps the next words were not suitable for her to hear.
She went back to her room to rest for a while, then took a shower and reapplied the medicine.
Just as I put on my protective gear, there was a knock on the door.
She opened the door and it turned out to be Qin Heque.
Qin Heque held a stew pot in his hand and said, "This is the stew Aunt Ming gave you. Let me bring it up."
"Thanks."
She was about to take the stew pot, but Qin Heque refused her, "It's still a little hot."
He walked straight into the room and put the stew pot on the table.
"I brought you a gift." He took out a gift box from his pocket.
The dark blue velvet gift box, emitting a faint azure glow, looks very high-end.
Cheng Yuesheng looked up at Qin Heque. He had a smile on his face and looked at her gently.
"Open it and see if you like it." He looked encouraging.
Cheng Yuesheng opened the gift box, and inside was an exquisite diamond necklace, shining brightly on the dark blue velvet.
The first thing Cheng Yuesheng thought when he saw the necklace was that it was so shiny, the second thing he thought was that it must be very heavy to wear around the neck, and the third thing he thought was that Qin Heque was crazy!
This necklace looks more exquisite than the diamond necklace that caused a sensation at the last auction, and the main stone is larger. Although Cheng Yuesheng doesn't know much about jewelry, a diamond like this must be very expensive.
"Do you like it?" Qin Heque asked.
Cheng Yuesheng was silent for a moment, then answered honestly, "I like it. It's very beautiful."
"Do you want to try it on?"
Cheng Yuesheng looked down at her nightgown and then at her diamond necklace.
"I probably won't see any effect if I wear it like this now."
"You'll know if you try it."
Qin Heque handed the gift box in his hand towards her.
Cheng Yuesheng sat in front of the dressing table, looking at Qin Heque in the mirror, who was concentrating on putting on a necklace for herself with his head down.
"Okay." Qin Heque put her hair behind her back and looked at the two of them in the mirror.
The nightgown Cheng Yuesheng was wearing had a square neckline, which just revealed a piece of skin under her collarbone, showing off the necklace perfectly.
