Chapter 159 Worry

The next morning, Cheng Yuesheng followed Qin Heque to the Qin Family Manor. They set out early because they were afraid they would arrive late.

Cheng Yuesheng got up very early and felt drowsy soon after getting in the car.

Qin Heque saw her head leaning towards the car window little by little. After thinking for a moment, he took a pillow and wanted to put it over to her to prevent it from hurting her head.

He had thought about hugging her and letting her sleep, but it would take some time to get to the manor, and Cheng Yuesheng might not be comfortable and it would be unsafe. It would be better for her to fasten her seat belt and get some sleep.

Cheng Yuesheng was dozing off when he suddenly felt someone was doing something in front of him.

She suddenly opened her eyes and saw Qin Heque fiddling with a pillow next to her head.

"What are you doing?"

Qin Heque stopped what he was doing and asked, "Did I wake you up?"

Cheng Yuesheng shook his head. "No, I wasn't asleep in the first place. What did you want to do just now?"

"I thought you were asleep, and I was afraid your head would hit the window, so I wanted to get a pillow to block it for you."

Cheng Yuesheng looked at the pillow in his hand. This pillow was bought by her. She originally bought it for her bedroom, but she didn't check carefully when placing the order and bought an extra pair. She originally planned to put it on the sofa in the living room, but she had already bought several pillows for the sofa, so Qin Heque took this pair of pillows to the car.

She looked at Qin Heque with a strange look. She didn't expect that Qin Heque would think of using a pillow to block the window for her. She thought that at this time she would hug her and let her sleep against him.

Qin Heque smiled instantly, as if he knew what she was thinking.

There was a glimmer of smile in his eyes. "You're wearing a seatbelt, so I can't hug you even if I want to."

Cheng Yuesheng tilted his head and looked at Qin Heque, "Then why don't you just unbuckle your seat belt?"

"No, we have to obey traffic rules." Qin Heque suddenly became serious.

It was obvious that he had been holding her tightly when she sprained her ankle. Cheng Yuesheng was about to ask her, but the next moment, she remembered what Mr. Qin said, that his parents died in a car accident.

"Brother Que is right." She nodded seriously, "We must obey traffic rules."

Qin Heque put the pillow on her legs and said, "If you feel sleepy, take a nap. We still have a long car ride."

She hugged the pillow and smiled, "Okay."

At the manor, Old Master Qin had been waiting for their arrival. As soon as he heard the servant say they had arrived, he immediately hurried out of the house.

"Grandpa Qin." Cheng Yuesheng was still a little sleepy, but when he saw Grandpa Qin come out, he immediately perked up.

"Shengsheng, you're here!" Old Master Qin complained, "Why haven't you come to see me, an old man, for so long?"

"Grandpa." Qin Heque also called out when he saw Old Man Qin coming.

Cheng Yuesheng felt that he had indeed neglected the old man during this period, and felt a little apologetic. "I'm sorry, Grandpa Qin, something happened recently."

Old Master Qin was just complaining verbally and didn't want to see Cheng Yuesheng feel guilty about it. He felt extremely sorry for Cheng Yuesheng's experience.

He looked at Cheng Yuesheng lovingly and said, "It's okay, it's okay. I'm an old man and I'm in very good health. You can come and see me whenever you are free."

Several people walked into the house while chatting.

After sitting down and chatting casually for a while, Mr. Qin told him the reason why he called Cheng Yuesheng and others over.

"Shengsheng, why didn't you tell me about what happened between you and the Cheng family?" There was no blame in his tone when he said this. He just felt that if he knew about this, he might be able to provide some help to Cheng Yuesheng.

"And you, Xiao He." The look in his eyes when he looked at his grandson was completely different from the look he gave Cheng Yuesheng. He became much more stern. "Shengsheng didn't tell me, but how could you hide it from me!"

Cheng Yuesheng apologized before Qin Heque: "I'm sorry, Grandpa Qin, please don't scold Brother Que. I just didn't want to trouble everyone, so I didn't tell you. Brother Que also didn't want to upset you, so I didn't tell you."

Originally, her affairs should not make other people worry too much. Qin Heque helped her because he liked her, and the Lu father and son helped her because she was the lost bloodline of the Lu family. But Cheng Yuesheng felt that it was not right to trouble other people again.

"And the matter has been resolved perfectly, all thanks to Brother Que's continuous help. Grandpa Qin doesn't have to worry about me." Cheng Yuesheng smiled flatteringly at Grandpa Qin.

Seeing that she spoke up for Qin Heque like this, Old Master Qin decided to stop blaming Qin Heque and could only glare at him to express his dissatisfaction.

Qin Heque poured a cup of tea for Old Man Qin to apologize, "Grandpa, I didn't tell you about this because I can handle it, and I don't want you to be upset about it."

Old Master Qin picked up the teacup and took a sip of tea, then muttered, "You did solve it, but if you had told me earlier, it would have been easier to solve."

"Anyway, the matter was resolved in the end." Qin Heque said lightly.

"Grandpa, this is my personal matter. I'm already very happy that Brother Que helped me. Why should I trouble you?" Cheng Yuesheng said sincerely.

Old Master Qin felt sorry for Cheng Yuesheng who had to deal with all these bad things at such a young age. "It's only right for him to help you. Is he, a grown man, really going to watch the girl he loves being bullied?"

Cheng Yuesheng felt a little guilty when she heard his words. Although she and Qin Heque are now a real couple, they were just a fake couple when Qin Heque helped her in the beginning.
