Song Yuehua kept walking, calculating the distance from East Street to the city gate. She kicked the old beggar who was blocking her way away, then left without looking back.
The old beggar was hit hard in the chest and his back hit the broken wall. He slid down the wall limply and spit out a mouthful of blood.
