Chapter 176: Second Birthday

Xiaobao jumped twice in his shoes.

Granny Wang smiled and said, "It's good as long as it fits. Dabao, you can try it too."

As soon as Dabao landed, he ran to Xie Wenwu's side. Granny Wang called him back, "You little naughty boy, why are you running so far? Is it appropriate?"

Dabao stared at the meatball tower and the big wooden horse and nodded.

Seeing that his saliva was about to flow out, Granny Wang had no choice but to let him go and play by himself.

The lunch was prepared by Song Yuehua, Xie Wenwu, and Tian. After eating the cake, they couldn't eat much, so not much food was prepared.

After dinner, Dabao pulled Xie Wenwu and asked him to hold him and ride on the wooden horse together.

Xiaobao was not too surprised by the Trojan horse. He just kept eating the cake in the bowl.

Song Yuehua felt that it was almost time, so she took Xiaobao's bowl and said, "Let's not eat anymore. Let's go play together, okay?"

Xiaobao stared at the cake in the bowl, feeling a little reluctant, but still nodded and said, "Okay."

In the evening, several people sat together in the courtyard. Song Yuehua told the story of Hua Mulan joining the army, and everyone listened quietly.

By the time I finished the story, Dabao and Xiaobao had fallen asleep.

After putting the person on the bed, Song Yuehua came out to drink a cup of tea. Xiaoyu asked, "Sister, why don't you invite more people to Dabao's birthday to make it lively, just like my birthday last year."

Xiaoyu also looked at Song Yuehua at this time.

Last year I was too busy with school stuff to celebrate my birthday properly, but this year I clearly have plenty of time.

"It's not appropriate," Song Yuehua said. "A two-year-old child would easily attract trouble if such a big event was made. Dabao and Xiaobao are still young and they can be satisfied with food and fun. There's no need to make it too exaggerated. It's enough to let them remember that birthdays are very happy days."

Xiaoyu hummed, puzzled, "Then last year..."

Song Yuehua knew what she wanted to ask, so she explained, "We will spend every year with Xiaobao and Dabao, but Xiaoyu didn't celebrate her birthday for the past seven years. I want to compensate you in one go. Besides, we had just separated at that time, and you were worried. I need to do something to make you feel at ease."

"Sister..." Xiaoyu blushed and buried her face in Song Yuehua's arm.

Xiaoyu leaned close to Xiaoyu's ear and jokingly said in a pinched voice, "Xiaoyu, do you feel your sister's love?"

"Oh, Xiaoyu!" Xiaoyu blushed and started playing with Xiaoyu.

Song Yuehua smiled as she watched the two little girls playing in the yard.
