Duan Yidao looked at Song Yuehua and said, "Let him die."
Zhang Erlang began to cry out, "Brother, I have elderly parents and young children at home, you are a good person and you will be rewarded, please save me!"
Song Yuehua sighed and patted Duan Yidao on the shoulder, "Anyway, let's bleed first."
This made things much simpler. Duan Yidao took the dagger handed over by Song Yuehua and started to bleed the man.
Fortunately, Song Yuehua brought some good wine and healing powder, otherwise it would have been difficult to do it.
"You don't bring anything with you when you go into the mountains?" Duan Yidao asked while bleeding.
Zhang Erlang took a sip of wine and recovered a little. Then he said, "It fell from above. I don't know where it went."
"Didn't you go deep into it?" Song Yuehua asked with her back to the two of them.
"I am reckless, not risking my life!" As soon as Zhang Erlang finished speaking, he felt a sharp pain in his buttocks, and he screamed in pain.
Duan Yidao cursed, "If we hadn't come here, you would have been dead. What the hell are you still doing?"
"Brother, be gentle, be gentle..." Zhang Erlang begged.
Song Yuehua looked towards the direction of the snake cave speechlessly, "Master, you are playing tricks on me again!"
Zhang Erlang's injuries were treated. Duan Yidao carried him on his back, Song Yuehua held a torch, and the three of them planned to go back the way they came.
It was getting light.
Suddenly, a dog barking was heard not far away.
Song Yuehua felt something was wrong, "Duan Yidao, find a high place to hide!"
"This, there is no high place here!" Zhang Erlang looked around, and there was only a bare cliff next to him, without even a tree.
"Give me the hemp rope!" Duan Yidao shouted.
Song Yuehua took out a hemp rope from her backpack and threw it over.
There was a protruding rock above her head, which could barely serve as a shooting point. Duan Yidao was carrying someone on his back, so he couldn't run away.
As soon as Song Yuehua climbed onto the rocks, a group of hyenas surrounded them, making sharp and creepy noises at them.
When she turned around to look at Master Duan and the other man, she saw Duan Yidao hanging Zhang Erlang on a broken branch with a hemp rope. Zhang Erlang was hanging in the air like a piece of bacon, cursing and attracting most of the hyenas.
Song Yuehua opened her mouth and wanted to say something, but then she closed it.
"I'll go first!" Song Yuehua aimed her arrows at the hyena pack. There were 22 in total, and she had 32 arrows.
A hyena jumped up and was about to bite Zhang Erlang, but just as it was about to bite him, an arrow hit it in the back of the neck.
Suddenly, half of the hyenas turned their attention to Song Yuehua.
Song Yuehua kept drawing her bow and shooting arrows, hitting every one she could. Several ferocious hyenas rushed towards Song Yuehua along the protrusion on the edge of the cliff, and she shot them down.
Duan Yidao fought for several rounds and his body was torn in several places. If he was bitten, losing a piece of flesh would be the least of his injuries.
Zhang Erlang, who had been cursing, finally opened his eyes and shut up, watching the two men fight the pack of hyenas.
Song Yuehua had just dealt with a hyena that pounced on her, and then turned back to look at Duan Yidao. Being besieged by eight hyenas, even Master Duan seemed a little overwhelmed.
Song Yuehua saved him with one arrow, but another hyena came up with it, and just when she was about to shoot again.
"Be careful!" Zhang Erlang shouted.
Song Yuehua was hit by a sudden force from the side and fell from a high place.
As soon as she landed on the ground, Song Yuehua stood up quickly and knocked down the hyena that pounced on her with one punch. There happened to be a torch below, so she took the torch and threw it forward, and the hyena that pounced on her stopped in fright.
Song Yuehua ran to the backpack, took out the wine inside and threw it towards the fire. Flames exploded and the hyenas fled in fear.
The dry leaves nearby were ignited. Duan Yidao also worked a little easier. He picked up the dry branches and leaves nearby and threw them onto the fire. There was a cliff behind the three of them, and a wall of fire formed in front of them.
There were still a few hyenas that were unwilling to give up and stood in the distance, staring at this side.
Song Yuehua wrapped cloth around the arrow head, lit it, and shot it in front of them, scaring the last two away.
The bigger the fire, the safer they will be.
There were six hyena carcasses. Song Yuehua threw two of them in and burned them in front of the dogs.
It was not until dawn that Zhang Erlang saw the large bloodstains on Song Yuehua's clothes.
Seeing him staring at him, Duan Yidao said, "In order to find you, we killed a tiger in Bugui Mountain."
"Tiger!" Zhang Erlang's originally pale face turned even paler, and he stared in disbelief.
Duan Yidao sighed and said, "That tiger is worth at least 300 taels. If it wasn't for looking for you..."
"Forget it," Song Yuehua interrupted.
Originally, she asked the White Snake for help, so she could just eat it and hibernate after eating it.
But when Zhang Erlang heard this, it seemed that Song Yuehua lost 300 taels in vain in order to find him.
It was all his fault for running into the mountains without knowing his own limitations. With his mediocre skills, he would have to die here even if he encountered a few hyenas, let alone a tiger.
I was really bewildered at that time!
Duan Yidao jumped down from above, "Girl, it's safe."
"Let's go quickly." After Song Yuehua put out the fire, she put the things into the basket and continued back along the same path.
By the time we got out of the mountain, it was already dawn.
The Zhou family, Xiaoyu, Xiaoyu, Xie Wenwu, and a few people who might be from the Zhang family were guarding the intersection.
As soon as everyone saw them appear, they immediately went to greet them.
Xiaoyu ran to Song Yuehua first with red eyes and exclaimed, "Sister! Why is there so much blood on your body..."
"I'm fine. This is the blood of a wild animal."
Song Yuehua said in a gentle voice, and then looked at everyone, "You haven't been guarding here since last night, have you?"
