At this moment, Mo Yi came slowly towards them, holding Cao Jiao. Cao Jiao's face was filled with hatred, but she dared not say a word because of fear.
Jin Linlin's eyes fell on her:
"You had the chance to live a good life, but you turned against me time and time again. Now, you have ended up like this. It is truly your own fault and you cannot blame anyone else."
Cao Jiao gritted her teeth and turned her head away without saying anything.
Jin Linlin chuckled:
"I have already sent troops to attack the State of Yan. Don't you treasure your husband Jiang Shuyan and son Jiang Xingzhi the most? When I destroy your country, I will bring them back alive. I want to see what else you are capable of. First, take her to prison and keep her under strict guard."
She said it with a nonchalant expression, as if it was just a trivial matter.
Mo Yi responded and prepared to take Cao Jiao down. However, Cao Jiao suddenly struggled and shouted in horror:
"Linlin, I was wrong. Please don't touch them. I was also possessed by a ghost, so I would do anything to go against you."
Her voice was filled with despair and pleading, and tears flowed like a flood.
Cao Jiao was incredibly strong, twisting her body desperately to break free from the ropes. Mo Yi and the other guards had to struggle to hold her down, but she still refused to give up and continued to cry.
Seeing this, Jin Linlin thought to herself:
"Cao Jiao is so strong that Mo Yi and the others might not be able to restrain her. If she takes the opportunity to escape, the consequences will be disastrous."
So she quickly bought a cartilage tablet from an electronic pharmacy and stuffed it into Cao Jiao's mouth without mercy while she was crying.
Cao Jiao was crying so hard that she didn't notice Jin Linlin's actions at all. She just felt something being stuffed into her mouth, and before she could react, she subconsciously swallowed it.
But within a moment, Cao Jiao felt her body begin to go limp, and her former immense strength vanished without a trace. She was horrified to discover that her limbs were completely out of control, and even standing up became a difficult task.
"What did you feed me?"
Cao Jiao's voice was filled with fear and anger. She widened her eyes and stared at Jin Linlin.
Jin Linlin's mouth corners slightly raised, revealing a smug smile:
"Cartilage slice, with all your strength, Mo Yi and the others can't hold you down. Just take your medicine obediently, and I'll feel at ease!"
Cao Jiao smiled bitterly and slowly lowered her proud head.
"I gave you a chance last time. I asked you to submit as soon as possible and offered you a throne, but you refused to listen. You can't blame me then."
