"Oh, that has to depend on her willingness." Shen Weichao sneered, "I always believe in mutual affection. I'm not like some people who use engagements to blackmail others..."
In the room, Yu Huan closed his eyes in despair.
"Marriage? Huan'er volunteered!" He Yanqing said angrily, "Huan'er said long ago that I'm the only one in her heart. She clearly doesn't like you, but you used your status as the Crown Prince to oppress her, forcing her to compromise..."
"You are the only one in her heart?"
"I'm using my status as a prince to oppress her?"
This was so absurd that Shen Weichao repeated it with a mixture of laughter and tears.
It's really over.
If he stayed any longer, once they had settled their accounts and came looking for him, Yu Huan would be dead. Forget about the mission, the money, all of it.
Yu Huan pushed open the back window and sneaked out through the window.
"Say what you just said again." Shen Weichao suddenly realized that something seemed to be wrong and said in disbelief.
He is the only one in her heart. She threatens him with the engagement and oppresses him with his status... Why does it sound more and more similar the more I listen?
She seemed to have said the same thing to him.
He Yanqing also began to react, his face was pale and his body was shaky.
"She lied to me?" Shen Weichao was furious and walked into the house, thinking that he must make her explain herself.
But after walking around the room two or three times, he was shocked to find that the room was empty. She had already run away.
“Where are the people?!”
Shen Weichao's shouts echoed over the Liao family's yard.
He Yanqing stood there quietly, his fingers clenched tighter and tighter, his nails scratching his palms without him noticing.
The pair of eyes that originally looked cold and upright were now slightly drooped, deep and dark, with no light visible.
Shen Weichao was so angry that he shouted to the servants: "Go find her! Bring her back to me!"
He Yanqing stood there like a lifeless puppet until Shen Weichao's shouting gradually faded away, then he slowly turned around and looked at the Liao family servant who had been keeping his head down, looking at his nose and his nose looking at his heart, with no sense of existence.
The boy naturally didn't want to get involved, and even less to be noticed, so he shrank his neck like a quail.
"Come here." He Yanqing said softly.
The servant was surprised that he had witnessed such a big thing with his own eyes, but he seemed calm and without any emotion.
He said awkwardly, "Mr. He, I've been standing here the whole time. I don't know where the young lady has gone."
"Where does she like to go on weekdays?" He Yanqing asked slowly, adding a threat, "If you don't tell me, don't blame me for reporting your laziness and drinking to Patriarch Liao."
This servant had accompanied Yu Huan to the He family several times, and disappeared when he was free. When Yu Huan was about to leave, he reappeared with the smell of alcohol on his clothes.
He Yanqing is usually considerate and gentle, and never blames his servants, but he didn't know when he noticed these things.
The boy suddenly became flustered.
Only then did he realize that He Yanqing was not as calm as he appeared. His eyes were dark and gloomy, as if a terrible storm was gathering.
“I, I…”
.
Yu Huan ran out of the Liao family's house and turned several blocks before she felt at ease. She found a familiar child on the street and asked him to tell Liao Lingwen that she would not be returning home for the next few days.
Then, he walked along the street, looking for his place to live for the next few days.
She used to have some bad friends, but after the Liao family fell into decline, she no longer had much contact with them.
I could go to Liao Chanyi's place, but I'm afraid Shen Weichao and the others could think of what she could think of. At least I have to hide for two days and wait for them to calm down before coming out.
Then she has to find a place that she knows but no one else knows.
I hadn't figured out where to go yet, but I was feeling hungry. I happened to walk onto a familiar street and could smell the aroma of crab meat buns from afar.
But she left in a hurry and didn't have any money on her.
.
Aunt Shu went to visit relatives these days and brought all the family members, big and small, except for Shu He, who was left at home to sell buns.
Shu He had to knead the dough, steam the buns, and prepare the fillings, and he was a little too busy to handle it all by himself.
Fortunately, there were not many customers during this period, so he hurried to make dumplings so that he would not run out of them to sell.
His skin was naturally fair, and his clothes were simple and plain, yet he exuded a certain pure and unworldly elegance. With a flick of his slender fingers, he created a beautiful crease.
The fingers moved so fast that a bun was ready in a flash.
While I was busy, someone poked my arm.
Shu He looked up in confusion, and first heard the words "Would you like to let me eat two buns for free?", and then saw that incomparably beautiful face, he was stunned, and a kind of unspeakable joy immediately drowned out all his fatigue.
She stood outside, looking at him with a smile.
Shu He hurriedly touched the steamer, and burned his hand before he remembered to put a piece of cloth under it, saying, "Yes, I, I'll get it for you..."
He was a little hurried and flustered. After a while, he finally remembered to ask Yu Huan carefully: "You, you want something with a filling, or crab meat? The crab meat is quite fresh today..."
"All are good. Whichever one you think is delicious, just give me two." Yu Huan said casually.
Shukaku suddenly received a difficult task.
After the panic, he thought solemnly and seriously for a while, then gave Yu Huan a crab meat bun and the best-selling bamboo shoot and pork bun.
