"What are you talking about? Let me laugh too." The emperor, wearing a bright yellow five-clawed golden dragon robe and full of majesty, walked in. Chen Jinzhi greeted him with a smile.
"Your Majesty has arrived, why didn't you even say hello? I'll have someone make your favorite tea right away."
The emperor was about to go in when he heard laughter from the side hall and stopped in his tracks.
Somehow, I was attracted by the lively laughter and walked towards the side hall.
He knew about Yu Huan's existence. Chen Jinzhi had greeted him. He also knew about Yun Zhiyan. It was he who had asked someone to send Yun Zhiyan to Zhaohui Palace. He just never took it to heart.
We would bump into each other a few times occasionally. When we met, I would vaguely remember that there was a child of his here, but I would forget it in a flash and would only remember it again when we met next time.
But we met too rarely, and eventually it was slowly overshadowed by other things.
Now standing outside the door, seeing the child suddenly grow a lot taller, I was still a little dazed.
Inside the hall, a young man in his early twenties sat at a desk, writing with his hands in his hands. He was wearing an amber-colored, waist-cinched, wide-sleeved casual suit. His back was as straight as a piece of green bamboo. As he wrote, a slight smile appeared between his eyebrows.
On the table next to her, a young girl was dozing off with her face supported by her hands and her elbows leaning on the table. She was wearing a bamboo-green double-breasted brocade shirt with buttons and a snow-white silk skirt. She was as pretty as the graceful pale green flower bud in the pond.
The teacher closed his eyes, but still couldn't bear to watch, so he knocked on the table.
Yu Huan suddenly woke up, watching the teacher sitting hastily next to him. After sitting down, he opened his eyes wide with a look of confusion: "Did I almost fall asleep?"
Zhu Ping said beside her: "You are awake."
"Puchi." The little palace maids guarding inside couldn't help but laugh.
How nice.
They are all in the stage of youthful radiance and charming style, which makes people feel emotional when watching them.
They say that serving the emperor is like serving a tiger, and this is true. Even though the emperor has always been known for his kindness and gentleness, who can guess what he is thinking? He might be angered by something.
Shen Jinzhi has always been very cautious. When he got the chance, he reminded everyone in the side hall and let them see the emperor coming.
Everyone in the group was stunned, and it took them two breaths to react before they saluted.
The emperor looked at Yun Zhiyan, the prince he had never paid attention to before. There was no admiration in his eyes, but surprise in his eyes, and then he lowered his head.
The emperor had long forgotten who his biological mother was, but the sunlight shining in from the open window, hitting Yun Zhiyan's profile, made her look somewhat like him.
"Get up." He raised his hand, emotions surging in his eyes, but no one could tell what he was thinking.

The emperor asked Yun Zhiyan to go in and talk to him alone. Shen Jinzhi had always been good at reading people's expressions, so he immediately found an excuse to stare at the small kitchen and come out.
No matter what the emperor was thinking, she was not interested and did not want to arouse other people's suspicion.
"Zhuzhu." Yu Huan stood under the eaves, interestingly teasing the parrot with a blade of grass.
Shen Jinzhi looked at her and sighed. As soon as the emperor arrived, the teacher stopped teaching. She finally got the advantage and was happy.
When the sun was at its highest, Liu Yi came out, looked for Chen Jinzhi, and said it was time for lunch.
During the meal, everything was normal. Chen Jinzhi didn't notice anything different, so he just pretended nothing happened.
After the emperor left, she asked Yun Zhiyan what the emperor had said to him.
"We just talked about some family matters, asked about birthdays, homework and so on." Yun Zhiyan replied.
It's funny to say that I don't even know my biological father's age. But when this happens in the royal family, it's undeniable.
Yun Zhiyan didn't have any other thoughts in his mind. Born in this palace, he had never longed to be close to his father.
There is no other meaning.
Chen Jinzhi didn't ask any more questions.
The days go by.
Concubine Wen cried outside the imperial study for two days in a row. Finally, she fainted from crying and had to be carried back. When she woke up, she wanted to go to the imperial study again. The palace servants couldn't stop her. In the end, the emperor had to confine her to the palace, and she finally calmed down.
But he was afraid that the emperor would do something to the second prince, so he played the zither that the emperor had given him many years ago all day long.
The sound of the piano is lingering. When you are in a good mood, you can enjoy it, but when you are in a bad mood, it only makes you feel bored.
The emperor had already ordered her to be confined to her room, and he couldn't ask anyone to pull the strings of her zither, so he had to endure the throbbing forehead.
In this state of annoyance, he went to Chaohui Palace several times. It was the only place that could calm his mind.
However, when he arrived at the palace, he remembered the seventh prince, whom he cared about the least, and called him over to talk to him several times.
No one knows what the emperor is thinking.
On that day, after the emperor vomited blood in the Zhaohui Palace, all the palaces became anxious, and the concubines volunteered to attend to him. However, in the end, the emperor did not allow any of them to stay, but instead summoned the tutor who usually taught the princes for a private talk.
The emperor had a total of eighteen princes. Excluding the three who died young, there were still fifteen. Excluding the five who were too young to speak and were still babbling, there were only ten left who could take on important responsibilities.
Among these ten, six had maternal families of low status and no support behind them, and only four were truly favored by the previous dynasty.
In the past, Yun Zhiyan was one of those six.
Later, when he returned to the Chaohui Palace, those people began to have an extra layer of consideration when they thought about him. However, he always kept his incompetence secret, thus saving himself a lot of trouble.
Originally, they had been living in peace. His greatest hope was to obtain a fiefdom closer to Beijing so that it would be more convenient for him to come back to see her.
