After six days of classes, Yu Huan finally had a day off. Zhang Pingle pulled out a kite from somewhere.
It happened to be a nice, windy day, so Yu Huan took the little kid to the back of the yard to fly a kite.
In the distance are fields where crops are grown, and nearby are fields where grandma grows vegetables. Between them is an open space with a few old trees around it.
They played in that open space.
The little kid ran around to pick up the kite, and Yu Huan ran with the kite. After trying several times, the kite finally flew in the sky for a while.
Zhang Pingle followed Yu Huan like a little tail. He heard some old lady gossiping and asked Yu Huan:
"Sister, will you not want me anymore in the future?"
"I don't want you?"
"Well, the grandmas said that you, you and Zhao Yang, should live in his house." Zhang Pingle imitated the words. He was young and didn't understand much, so he only learned a few words.
This may not be what the grandmother meant. After all, when Yu Huan wanted to cancel the child marriage, everyone in the family agreed.
