Chapter 55: Countryside Ex-Girlfriend 15

Old Mrs. Zhao was also frying something.

As soon as Zhao Yang came back, he went into the kitchen and took over the job.

Soon, Yu Huan smelled the scent and came over and stood next to Zhao Yang.

Her figure suddenly appeared in the extremely familiar scene, as if we had become a family, and my heart was suddenly filled with joy.

Zhao Yang fried ribs and chicken nuggets, which were different from what grandma fried. Yu Huan looked at him eagerly.

As soon as he fished it out, Zhao Yang served her a plate, which was so hot that it was a little hot to the mouth.

She got a plate and happily took it to eat with Grandma Zhao.

After the chicken nuggets were fried, she came over again.

He ate two pieces of this and two pieces of that, and his stomach was almost full. When he looked up, Zhao Yang was still in front of the stove, without any complaints from beginning to end.

Yu Huan felt guilty, turned back, and fed a piece of chicken to him.

Zhao Yang was stunned for a moment, then lowered his head and took a bite of the chicken. He seemed to touch her fingertips vaguely, and his emotions surged. He wanted to stand there forever.

?

The crackling sound of firecrackers filled the whole village with a festive atmosphere. Firecracker confetti flew with the smell of fireworks, and red flowers were scattered all over the ground.

Greeting New Year's greetings, pasting Spring Festival couplets, cutting window flowers, setting off firecrackers... welcoming and seeing off guests, Zhao Yang was busy all day and didn't get to see Yu Huan. Only when she went out, he could vaguely see the figure that he missed so much through the crowd.

In the evening, I finally have some free time.

He called people out and talked to them at the back of the yard.

Yu Huan was wearing a small jacket with an apricot red background and a white velvet collar. She looked delicate and pretty, and she was smiling. She was even more lovable than the doll in the New Year picture.

"This is for you." He took out a red envelope.

"You're giving me New Year's money?" Yu Huan opened the red envelope in surprise. In addition to the thick banknotes, there was also a bracelet.

She took out a golden bracelet with intricate patterns carved on it. It was heavy and shone brightly as it swayed in the moonlight.

"The money was given by grandma, and this is mine." Zhao Yang said in a low voice.

She fiddled with the bracelet lovingly, and the smile in her eyes made Zhao Yang unable to look away.

“Will it be too expensive?”

Even though he liked her very much, Yu Huan still remained reserved.

However, in Zhao Yang's heart, the look she gave him was much more precious than the gold bracelet.

His heart was wavering, but she was thinking about the New Year's Eve dinner at home. If she waited any longer, she might not be able to make it in time.

He looked straight at her, not feeling tired even though he was standing outside in the cold weather. They chatted about random things, feeling very happy in their hearts.

Yu Huan really wanted to go back. After standing there for a while, he couldn't stand it anymore and called him.

Zhao Yang looked at her with clear eyes.

"Come closer." Yu Huan waved.

Zhao Yang was puzzled but obeyed, lowering his head. Then, he felt a light touch like a feather brushing against his forehead.

"It's too cold. Go home and have dinner."

Yu Huan's voice brought him back to his senses.

He was stunned, walking back one step at a time, and when he reached the door of his house, he finally came to his senses and touched the place where she had kissed him with his fingertips.

My heart was beating as fast as a firecracker.

He looked back eagerly, but the culprit had already run home to have a feast.

?

Staying up all night to celebrate the New Year was a difficult task for a little girl who loved to sleep. Yu Huan and Zhang Pingle had made a bet that whoever went to sleep first would be the puppy.

It was almost midnight when Yu Huan yawned several times, his eyes almost closing. Turning back, he saw Zhang Pingle happily playing with his toy train.

"Le Le." Yu Huan called him.

It was a rare moment for his sister to be so kind and gentle, so Zhang Pingle raised his head.

"I feel dizzy." Yu Huan covered his head, "I want to go inside and rest for a while."

Zhang Pingle nodded heavily and said, "Okay."

As soon as Yu Huan entered the room, he fainted on the bed and did not wake up the whole night.

The next day, grandma called everyone to eat dumplings.

Yu Huan wanted to stay in bed, with her eyes closed. Her mother came into the room, told her not to move, dressed her, and then took her to eat.

Zhang Pingle finally reacted and said seriously, "Sister, you are a puppy."

Yu Huan was so sleepy that he couldn't even open his eyes. He had to rely on his mother to lead him to walk. He nodded randomly: "I am a puppy, I am a puppy."

Suddenly, I heard a chuckle coming from the door.

She opened her eyes dazedly and saw Zhao Yang walk in. The smile on his lips had not yet disappeared. Due to the presence of the elders, he just stuffed a bowl of steaming dumplings into her hands.

"Try and see which one tastes better, the one with lotus root and meat filling or the one with green beans and meat filling." He whispered to Yu Huan, said hello to Mother Zhang, and walked out.

"This child hasn't been allowed to taste the dumplings we make yet." Mother Zhang scolded.

At the dinner table, the family smiled when they saw the pot of dumplings.

After dinner, I lifted the curtain and found that the ground outside was covered with a layer of white. It was snowing.

The first snow of this year.

Since I have nothing to do today, I just watch the snow at home.

In the afternoon, the snow stopped and a thick layer of snow had accumulated on the ground. When Yu Huan stepped on it, the snow made a crackling sound.

Zhang Pingle came out bounding, dragging her along to join the neighborhood kids in playing snowballs. The laughter and chatter drew Zhao Yang out, and when he saw Yu Huan there, he came out and joined her in the children's game.

Probably because he was the "other people's child" in the eyes of the parents in the village, many children had heard of his deeds, and when they saw him, they called him "Brother Zhao Yang" and rarely threw snowballs at him when playing snowball fights.

He grabbed a handful of snow, squeezed it twice with his slender fingers, and squeezed out a thick snowball.

He didn't do much, mostly just watching, occasionally helping Yu Huan, and when he hit something he hit her child first.

The children were very energetic and quickly cleaned up the snow outside the yard, leaving only footprints.

Yu Huan couldn't find any clean snow, so he went to look for it at the back of the yard.

There was another sound of footsteps on the snow behind her. She turned around alertly and saw that it was Zhao Yang. She smiled and begged for mercy: "Don't hit me."

Zhao Yang looked at her, stretched out his empty hands, and said, "No."

Instead, she was holding a snowball in her hand, and she was a little bolder, and she asked, "Can I hit you with it?"

Zhao Yang smiled and stood there indifferently.

A mischievous snowball hit him on the shoulder.

"Let me smash it." He didn't move. Yu Huan felt a little embarrassed again. He walked over and gently brushed the snow off his shoulders.

He lowered his head and looked at her with his eyes downcast. It seemed that every time he looked at her, his gaze was very deep, as if he wanted to wrap her completely in his sight.

He kissed the corner of her lips.

With slightly rapid breathing, the rising temperature gradually climbed up his cheeks, leaving red clouds on his face.

Zhao Yang kissed her passionately, holding her face, roughly and aggressively. Yu Huan's lips were numb from being sucked, and the tips of her ears were burning from the hot breath.
