The child couldn't understand what the adults were saying. The sweet girl opened her big confused eyes, her chin was covered with sticky syrup, and a few small rice teeth were exposed. She said happily, "Yes, yes."
The childish words made the two adults burst into laughter, and they put aside what they had just said.
Zhu Cuilan kissed Tianniu's cheek affectionately and shouted into the house, "Fang Chu, Donghu, don't sit in the house anymore. Your Aunt Zhao is here. Take out the crispy candies and give them to little Tianniu."
The two people outside were talking in low voices, so it was hard to hear clearly in the house. When they heard Zhu Cuilan's shout, Yang Donghu and Zhao Fangchu put down what they were holding, got up and went out.
Zhao Fangchu was holding some leftover candy from the Chinese New Year. He smiled when he saw Tianniu, called her "Auntie" first, and then came over to pinch her chubby little face: "Little Tianniu, who am I?"
"Come out, come out." The sweet girl's face was pinched, and her voice was somewhat lisp.
Zhu Cuilan smiled and hit Zhao Fangchu's hand: "Don't pinch it, no wonder our sweet girl is drooling, it's all because of you."
"Hey, little sweet girl, look what this is. Come here and let me hug you. I'll give you some candy." Zhao Fangchu opened his palm, and there was a candy lying quietly inside.
Yang Donghu liked children very much. He greeted Aunt Zhao, moved a stool and sat next to Zhu Cuilan, then poked her soft little hand with his finger.
Tianniu had never seen Yang Donghu before, and her attention was immediately attracted to him. She stared at him curiously with wide eyes, and did not even react when Zhao Fangchu gave her candy.
Zhao Fangchu waved the candy in front of Tianniu's eyes and continued to coax her.
The sweet girl blinked her eyes twice, twisted her body and tried to stand up from Zhu Cuilan's arms. Suddenly, she opened her arms to Yang Donghu and said softly, "Hold me."
