Chapter 93 Exposing the Shortcomings

Men are not allowed to enter and leave the boy's yard at will, and Zhao Luochuan, a married man, has to stay away from him.

He didn't even go to Yang Anjin's house. He stood under a tree not far away, with Zhao Fangyu next to him staring at the yard eagerly.

"Don't you think that the excuse that I'm not safe alone is a bit absurd?" Zhao Luochuan crossed his arms and couldn't help but ask the words he had been holding back all the way.

Zhao Fangyu didn't listen to what he said at all. He said perfunctorily, "Well, that's ridiculous. It's been a while, why hasn't anyone come out yet?"

Zhao Luochuan pushed the cart back to the yard, and without unloading the cart, he went to the next yard and gave one or two or three lambs to Zhu Cuilan, and was about to go out without stopping.

Seeing that he was in a hurry and Yang Donghu, who had always been sticking to him, was not there, Zhu Cuilan asked a question and learned that Donghu had gone to Yang Anjin's house to borrow silk thread. Without thinking much about it, she waved her hand and asked Zhao Luochuan to pick him up.

Zhao Fangyu had been hiding in the house since he came back. When he heard that Yang Donghu had gone to Dayang Village, he rushed to Zhao Luochuan and, on the pretext that it was unsafe for him to go alone, forcibly dragged Zhao Luochuan out of the door without him even having a chance to react.

Not to mention that Zhao Luochuan is a tall and strong man, it's good enough that he doesn't bully others. In broad daylight, who would dare to dance in front of him without knowing the consequences?

Zhao Luochuan said angrily, "Who do you want to come out? The yard is so quiet, and there's no one there. Hey, I say, you're not going to sell things, but you're quite enthusiastic about coming here. You didn't come here so early in the morning, did you?"

"I came to take a look. He's a guy who doesn't even lock the door at home. The gate to the yard is wide open. It's a place that attracts bad guys."

I don’t know if it will attract bad people, but it will definitely attract you, Zhao Luochuan couldn’t help but think.

Zhao Fangyu didn't have the ability to read minds, so he didn't know what he was thinking, otherwise he would definitely have had an argument with him.

Not long after, a figure came out from the gate of the yard. Zhao Luochuan saw Yang Donghu looking around, so he quickly waved at him and called out "Donghu".

Yang Donghu helped Yang Anjin close the courtyard gate tightly before walking under the tree.

Zhao Fangyu waited for a long time but only saw Yang Donghu come out. He stretched his neck to look in despair, until Yang Donghu closed the door, then he sighed in disappointment.

Zhao Luochuan found his expression amusing, and a few evil thoughts arose in his mind: "Is your aunt not at home today?"

Normally Zhao Luochuan wouldn't ask about these things, so this time it seemed a little awkward. Yang Donghu nodded, not understanding why. "An Jin said that Auntie went to town to deliver something to her brother."

Zhao Luochuan said "oh" with a long tail sound, and raised an eyebrow at Zhao Fangyu: "I went to deliver something."

Zhao Fangyu ignored him and asked Yang Donghu, "Is there anything different about him today? Is he happy?"

Yang Donghu and Zhao Fangyu hadn't spoken a word for days, and this was the first time he'd heard him speak so many words to him. He glanced at Zhao Luochuan, who had a smirk on his face. He wondered what he was up to, so he said honestly, "It doesn't seem like anything special."

"Not at all?" Zhao Fangyu asked.

"Not really." Yang Donghu smiled. "He just got a new comb. It looks pretty ordinary to me. I don't know why he's so happy."

Zhao Luochuan interrupted, "What else could it be? It's out of your heart. It's worth your rushing here so early in the morning, right?"

As he spoke, he nudged Zhao Fangyu's arm with his elbow, and the couple also learned to join in the banter.

Yang Donghu seemed to have just realized what was happening. He said with a clear voice, and smiled, "No wonder, it turned out to be a gift from Brother Fang Yu. I was wondering if it didn't look like something sold in town. He was quite happy about it and kept it like a treasure."

Zhao Fangyu scratched his hair, chuckled and said, "As long as you like it, that's good."

"You've improved a lot since you grew up. You know to give people things that can be used at home. You're not the one who caught a toad and gave it to a little girl, only to scare her to tears. Not bad." Zhao Luochuan and Zhao Fangyu are only one year apart. They have been used to being disrespectful since childhood, and they are not polite when it comes to making trouble.

The children in the village grew up in the mud, fishing in the river and picking bird eggs from trees. They were all naughty from childhood to adulthood. Little Zhao Fangyu caught earthworms and millipedes, and went back happily to ask Zhu Cuilan for credit, saying that he wanted to raise these little animals at home to play with his newborn baby.

Zhu Cuilan was not Xu Lianyi, who spoke softly to children. She hit little Zhao Fangyu on the butt with a broom, warning him that if he dared to bring these insects to Zhao Fangchu, who was still a baby, he would die an ugly death like the earthworm that was broken into several segments.

Little Zhao Fangyu tried to resist, but it was useless. He wiped his tears and dug a hole to bury the earthworm, muttering to himself that we would be brothers in the next life.

After the rain, groups of frogs often come ashore at the riverside. Little Zhao Fangyu thought he had a great time chatting with one of them and really didn't want to part with it, but Zhu Cuilan didn't let his animal friend into the house. Little Zhao Fangyu thought about finding a good family for it. In the child's mind, the little girl with pigtails in the village was the prettiest and must have a kind heart. She would definitely accept his frog friend, and he would feel at ease with the little frog staying in her home.

When he found the little girl with a toad in his hand and said he wanted to introduce her to a good friend, the little girl never imagined that it was a toad covered with acne. The smile on her face turned into tears in just a moment.

Zhao Fangyu later recalled that he could no longer remember the people and scenes at that time, nor did he remember who the little girl was. He only remembered that it was really painful when Zhao He's stick hit his body.

With the parties involved present, it was obvious that Yang Donghu wasn't funny, but his shrugging shoulders still gave him away.
