Ke Meiyu stepped forward, revealing once again the bright smile that made Master Zhao grit her teeth in hatred, and recited it fluently and with great emotion.
There's nothing to criticize about her pronunciation, speaking speed, or emotion.
The more perfect and flawless she was, the more intense the fire in Master Zhao's heart burned.
"It'll do. This is only the second day of university. I hope you can complete your studies with high quality and quantity as your studies become more demanding."
Master Zhao said a few polite words, then continued to vent her anger on the others with a dark face: "Did you see what Ke recited? She doesn't study hard because she's talented. When will you all be like her? Then I won't have to worry about you all all the time!"
Tsk tsk, that's shameless. Ke Meiyu couldn't help but secretly roll her eyes.
Since Zhao Shitai herself couldn't find fault with her, she started putting her on the opposite side of the whole class, truly trying to make her uncomfortable in every way.
The first class was basically spent with students taking turns going up to the stage to recite, and the second class was taught by Professor Ke Meiyu!
Everyone was completely fed up with Master Zhao; she truly kept redefining their understanding of their teacher.
As soon as the bell rang for the second class, Master Zhao stood on the podium, feigning concern for everyone's well-being, and began to ramble on in a serious manner: "I know you are all very unaccustomed to all aspects of university, because university is the bridge to your entry into the workforce. What I want to teach you is knowledge, right?"
"No, I believe you can learn the things in the books just as quickly without my guidance. Just like this morning, you were able to memorize two unfamiliar short articles in such a short time."
"What I want to teach and train in you are your learning and life skills! Just like when you give lectures on stage, I believe that after you enter the workforce, you will definitely rise step by step, and at that time, your organizational skills, communication skills, and planning skills will all come in handy..."
"Alright, before class starts, Ke, I'd like to set a few learning goals, as these are related to everyone's credits. First, everyone needs to fully understand the text, memorize twenty words, recite the text tomorrow morning, and be able to spell the words from memory."
"Secondly, everyone should master the ten sentence structures from the key points and difficult areas in the textbook, as they will definitely be covered in the exam!"
"Finally, you will need to write a similar piece based on the content of this lesson..."
The requirements set forth by Master Zhao may seem few, but it is quite difficult for a lecturer to guide students to complete them within a single lesson. Even experienced teachers might not be able to meet them, since the students in front of them are complete novices!
What's more, Master Zhao went on and on about deducting credits again.
Ten minutes had passed before she handed the podium to Ke Meiyu.
Ke Meiyu had already read through the first section of the text and, taking advantage of the time difference, searched for a lot of relevant content in the system's electronic database.
Her father in her previous life knew her playful and unstudious nature. In order to prevent her from following in his illiterate footsteps, he specially hired a number of tutors at high salaries. Each of them was the kind of teacher who had the magic to turn a poor student into a top student.
Ko Mei-yu benefited greatly, achieving fluency in several languages and mastering various courses required for socialites, all through this process.
She drew inspiration from these teachers' humor and wit, combining education with entertainment, and incorporating elements of memory techniques, psychology, and humanities to comprehensively instill knowledge in her students.
Not to mention the students who had never been exposed to such a sophisticated education, even Master Zhao, who was auditing the class, and the row of highly respected professors from the foreign language college who had been specially invited by Master Zhao to attend the class in order to see her make a fool of herself, were all unable to resist being attracted to her.
By the end of get out of class, the students had thoroughly read and understood the text, were able to use the sentence structures, and mastered the usage of the past tense. Even when it came to imitation writing, they had the beautiful and elegant templates provided by Ke Meiyu, and they weren't flustered at all.
"What a promising young talent!" an old professor exclaimed excitedly. "This child has a remarkable talent for languages; I am ashamed of myself compared to her. I feel that the material in our books is far too easy for her."
Teachers all like students who do well in their studies, especially those who perform so well. For them, it's like a pat on the back and an immense honor!
"Yes, letting her attend classes in a routine way is a waste of her talent and potential. It would be better to give her special courses, or let her graduate early and go to Kyoto for graduate studies..."
"I agree. Our organization needs a diplomat with such exceptional talent. She has a beautiful image and elegant demeanor; wherever she goes, she's like a beautiful peony, impossible to ignore. We need to let more people know about her excellence..."
"Actually, she doesn't necessarily have to be a diplomat. If she were a university professor, the students she taught would definitely be highly qualified in all aspects; they would be like special forces in the foreign language world..."
Several senior professors praised Ke Meiyu highly, almost elevating her to a divine status, which completely contradicted Master Zhao's original intention!
Suppressing her inner panic and anger, Master Zhao forced a smile and said, "Seniors, she's just a young girl who just started school. I don't think we should give her such high praise, at least not show our admiration in front of her."
"This child has a proud and aloof temperament. When she came up to introduce herself yesterday, do you know what she said first?"
"She said she didn't like helping others, especially hated trouble, and didn't like interacting with people. That's why she applied for that single room in Building 13. Even if a child like that is highly talented, she may not necessarily become someone who can help the organization and the people."
"So I think our top priority is not to help her grow up quickly, but to give her enough experience and make her understand that a person's talent is matched by the responsibility they bear. You have to be a good person before you can do anything!"
