After turning off her microphone, Xie Cailing had only been broadcasting for half an hour when the other members of the school radio station arrived and welcomed Ke Meiyu.
Seeing the genuine smiles on each of her classmates' faces, Ke Meiyu breathed a slight sigh of relief.
She actually quite likes this job and doesn't want to spend too much energy on backstabbing and infighting.
The station director organized a short meeting for everyone. "The addition of new members to our small group signifies the start of a new semester. This is the shift schedule I've created based on everyone's class schedules."
"Ke, you're not very familiar with our school radio station yet, so this week you'll come here at least once a day, morning, noon, and evening, to familiarize yourself with the work. Also, show me your class schedule. If you think it's okay, we can officially start broadcasting next week, how about that?"
Ke Meiyu nodded, offering no objection.
"Does anyone have any good suggestions regarding the work of our radio station?"
The other members looked at each other and shook their heads. "Director, we all have a lot of work to do. We prepare a broadcast every two days, broadcasting the news, biographies of famous people, and short stories. Then we play two songs, which takes about half an hour."
"Director, I think it would be possible for us to subscribe to another magazine?"
"Yes, we've been using these two or three magazines and newspapers for over two years. Although the content has changed, there's basically nothing new..."
"And songs..."
Basically, the members did not change the broadcasting format, but they had higher requirements for the content.
The station director kindly wrote down the request and said he would report the application to his superiors.
As they were leaving, Yu Lulu and Ke Meiyu walked behind. She couldn't help but lean over and peek at the station director, then whispered, "Ke, I suggest you come at noon if you can, as time is tight in the morning. But please don't come alone in the evening!"
"Why?" Ke Meiyu curiously peeked around and whispered in her ear.
Yu Lulu couldn't contain her gossip and said, "Our office building is the tallest in the whole school."
Ke Meiyu nodded, and then...
“Our radio station is on the top floor, and some students who are feeling down just…” She gestured with her hand in an arc, “…chu…dong…understand?”
If she were a typical country girl, she definitely wouldn't understand, but Ke Meiyu nodded in perfect understanding.
“There are one or two cases every semester, and a few years ago, a senior student went crazy while the radio was broadcasting at night, and a senior student died suddenly. Not only the radio station, but also the faculty and staff on the sixth and fifth floors have had accidents. Ke, don’t think I’m exaggerating, these are all real things that have happened. The station director is very considerate, and he and Deputy Director Zheng usually take turns on duty.”
Ke Meiyu felt a slight chill run down her spine. Had she activated another ghost-related side quest?
School campuses are always associated with horror stories.
"Yes, thank you, Senior Yu," she said with a sweet smile.
"Also, Ke is so pretty, so you must walk with a classmate during evening self-study. Don't take shortcuts to save time," Yu Lulu couldn't help but remind her. "Although this is a school and our country has good public security, there are still bad people everywhere."
Ke Meiyu nodded in agreement.
"Ke is quite bold. I heard you lived in dormitory number 13, and some classmates even encountered strange things..." Yu Lulu seems to be a girl who likes this kind of thing, but unfortunately, the times have limited her interests and hobbies, and she can only chew on a few things that are popular in the school over and over again.
Leaving the office building, Ke Meiyu couldn't help but turn her head to look back. The brick-red building, having been weathered by wind and rain for many years, was mottled and had its own filter effect!
Ke Meiyu couldn't help but shudder as images of horror movies she had watched before flashed through her mind.
"What are you thinking about?" Qin Yuanjiu rubbed her head. "Class is about to start, hop in the car, I'll take you there."
Ke Meiyu gently wrapped her arms around the man's waist, her eyes slightly lowered.
She suddenly remembered that since there was a Yin-gathering array in Building 13 of the girls' dormitory with Yin beads and Yin beast statues as the array eyes, then that person must have done more than just this one thing. Perhaps there was something hidden on the roof of the office building as well.
After finishing her classes in the afternoon, Ke Meiyu used a talisman bird to send a message to Qin Yuanjiu, asking him to bring her food. She then asked the class monitor for leave from evening self-study and went to the foreign language department's office building.
The members of the Foreign Language Association have arrived one after another, numbering about forty.
Twelve new recruits were hired. Huo Chengfang and Xia Haifeng were both encouraged by Ke Meiyu to fill out the forms with great enthusiasm and fall into this trap.
Let me first introduce myself. The president is Wang Xueying, a senior student who wears glasses, is somewhat old-fashioned but strong-willed. She has the shadow of Master Zhao.
According to Xia Haifeng, the president was promoted by Master Zhao, and she is also jealous of talented people.
"It's been a week since school started, and we've welcomed our new students. Let's give you a warm welcome!"
After Wang Xueying finished speaking, everyone turned to look at the newlyweds and applauded enthusiastically.
"As usual, the theme of the first month of school is to promote the importance of foreign languages in schools, make the name of the foreign language corner known, and encourage more students to join in so that they can improve their foreign language scores and speaking skills."
"Our Foreign Language Association is divided into three groups, each responsible for a foreign language corner for a period of one month. The number of participants in the activities every Saturday evening will be used as the criterion for applying for funding for other activities."
"Today is March 17th. I can tell you in advance that on the last Saturday of next month, we will hold an on-campus foreign language speech competition in the school auditorium, which will be divided into preliminary rounds, semi-finals and finals. Then in May, we will hold a foreign language speech competition for universities in our province."
