The next morning, Ke Meiyu had just stepped out the door, scratching her head and looking sleepy, when she was stopped by the energetic Ke Yuanxia.
"Hey sis, wanna come with me to deliver breakfast?"
Ke Meiyu glanced at him listlessly, "I'm not going, I'm still hungry."
"After you've eaten, will you come with me to deliver breakfast?"
"Brother, since you and Sister Yutong are planning to get to know each other better, don't you think it doesn't really matter whether I go or not? Everyone's not blind, they all know about what's going on between you and Sister Yutong." She went downstairs to find food, speechless.
"But back then, didn't you always accompany me?" Ke Yuanxia asked eagerly. "Little sister, you can't be biased. Whether my second brother can get a wife depends on you."
Ke Meiyu looked up at the sky, realizing that she had judged him as a fake honesty too early.
Their dating skills are on fire!
"Brother, this is a university town, not some remote, narrow-minded countryside. We value freedom in relationships. As long as you behave normally and don't go to secluded places, who can say anything?"
"After all, Comrade Mao said that dating without the intention of marriage is immoral. Are you two aiming for marriage, or are you just playing around?"
"Of course I'm aiming for marriage," Ke Yuanxia said righteously.
“That solves it,” Ke Meiyu shrugged.
Ke Yuanxia suddenly realized.
There are actually quite a few couples in college who are the envy of everyone. They have agreed to work in the same place after graduation, get married, and wait for housing allocation. Their plans are exceptionally happy and wonderful.
Others offered them only blessings, and there was little gossip.
As long as a person acts uprightly and sits properly, that's enough.
He immediately rushed out the door like a gust of wind, leaving behind a few words of thanks to the girl, and carrying the wrapped lunchbox.
Grandma Ke looked pleased. "Your second brother is quite decisive in this matter. Your mother and I originally thought he was a blockhead."
Grandpa Ke listened to the tape recorder leisurely, sipped his tea, and said, "The second son is not stupid. He has been addicted to pretending to be simple-minded since he was a child. Only you guys were fooled by him."
Ke Meiyu nodded in agreement, "Grandpa is a wise man." After saying that, she began to angrily tell the old lady about her second brother pretending to be stupid last night.
"If I hadn't sensed something was wrong and asked my second brother, I would have really thought he didn't know anything. He's so mean, isn't he!"
Grandma Ke listened with great interest, "He's quite cunning, but he's still better than that big, dumb guy."
After eating, Ke Meiyu went for a run.
The students always do morning exercises before eating. Who can blame her for being so physically strong? Her stomach can hold an elephant; the food just sits there, barely making a ripple.
She found the class monitor and asked him with a smile, "Class monitor, can I do morning exercises every other day?"
Without the previous suppression from the dean and Master Zhao, the class monitor's authority has increased.
"Ke, it's not that I don't want to ask for leave for you, but you have to give me a reasonable reason. Otherwise, the other students won't believe me and will all ask for leave. What will we do then?" The class monitor was somewhat troubled.
"Class monitor, I've joined the school radio station, right? Starting next week, I want to broadcast in the mornings, taking up some of the time spent running morning exercises, to lengthen the broadcast time and add some foreign languages and practical content."
"It's perfect timing for everyone to do morning exercises; they can listen to it while running..."
The class monitor thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I'll talk to the counselor. I don't think there will be any major problems."
"Thank you," Ke Meiyu said with a smile.
"Of course, Ke is good at foreign languages and can lead everyone to learn and improve together. He deserves respect and support." Coincidentally, the class monitor is a new member of the student union's arts and sports department. He likes singing and dancing and has good aptitude for it, so he was easily recruited.
Ke Meiyu helped everyone cover up their mistakes at the freshman welcome party, thus avoiding the risk of having their credits deducted or reduced. She is everyone's benefactor.
Therefore, her name and deeds have been posted on the bulletin board of the Arts and Sports Department, and it is the only red paper there, so that everyone will be more considerate of her if they encounter her in the future.
Ke Meiyu is now very involved in student council, school radio, and club affairs.
During class, she would spend half of her consciousness studying, cultivating, and busying herself in her spatial dimension, which was even more efficient than before when she only entered it at night. In her free time, she would attend to club activities, allowing her to comfortably sleep soundly with Qin Yuanjiu's human-shaped pillow at night!
Ko Mei-yu has a strong sense of purpose in everything she does, except when it's purely for her own entertainment.
For example, the clubs she joined this time, whether they were volunteer groups, foreign language associations, or the school radio station, all shared the goal of serving the public and gaining peace points.
I don’t know when she triggered this side quest, but now whenever she does something impactful, her peace value increases by single digits.
Although the increase is small, if the number is large, it is still a considerable figure.
It's like selling small items; the price is cheap and the profit is low, but the sales volume is high, which is enough to make someone a millionaire!
It was similar to when she was in college, when she would buy things online and find a small note with a two or three yuan cashback for a positive review. Like her roommate, she never complained about the amount and diligently collected the cashback.
For example, someone might be camping out in a group chat just for a few cents, dimes, or a few dollars in red envelopes...
Watching the numbers slowly increase is a satisfying and irresistible experience!
It is especially effective in treating mild obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Ke Meiyu went to the radio broadcasting room to observe every noon, and spent the rest of the time listening to the broadcasts. She quickly became familiar with everyone's routines and knew how to make deletions and revisions.
After finishing her morning exercises, she and her classmates went to the bulletin board to promote the foreign language corner and foreign language speech activities.
She was somewhat famous and good-looking, and the posters were particularly bright and vivid, attracting a large number of students to stop and look.
