Chapter 12 You slept here all night?
Lin Feiyan woke up in the early morning to the orange light. He frowned slightly and was about to get out of bed when he noticed a new pendant by the bedside.
Ye Qingning sat casually on his carpet, her head resting on the bed, fast asleep.
Her glossy black hair fell down, obscuring half of her face, revealing only her straight nose and tightly closed eyes.
Recalling the scene from last night, Lin Feiyan realized that Ye Qingning had slept in his room all night.

A complex expression rose between his brows, and Lin Feiyan called out to her in a loud voice, "Ye Qingning."
Hearing the man's movement, Ye Qingning opened her eyes. In her still hazy vision, she saw the man leaning against the headboard looking at her, his eyes dark and unreadable, his emotions unclear.
Ye Qingning was startled for a moment before recalling what had happened last night. She rubbed the back of her neck and asked in a slightly hoarse voice, "You're awake? Does your stomach still hurt?"
Lin Feiyan looked at her with a complicated expression, and after a long while said, "You slept here all night?"
Ye Qingning scratched her head: "I was going to leave, but I saw you frowning and I couldn't rest easy... so I accidentally fell asleep."
She tried to get up from the floor, but her legs went numb, and she stumbled and fell heavily onto the carpet.
Lin Feiyan seemed to subconsciously reach out to help her, but he missed.
