Chapter 121 The Pre-selected Female Lead
Chen Ci smiled, a serious expression appearing on his usually wicked and casual face: "That would be for the best. After all, my medical skills haven't reached the point of bringing the dead back to life. I can't always snatch you back from the clutches of death."
Ye Qingning stuck out her tongue: "Okay."
Soon, Xiao Cui came in with lunch, and Chen Ci said goodbye and left.
After lunch, Ye Qingning looked at Fang Ming's business card in her hand, pondered for a moment, and then dialed the number.
The phone was answered after two rings, and a slightly deep male voice came through the receiver: "Hello, this is Fang Ming. May I ask who you are?"
"Hello, Brother Fang, I'm the one who got your business card at the Film Academy last time. My name is Ye Qingning."
Fang Ming was listening to his assistant's work report when he heard this and raised his hand to stop the assistant: "Hello, you're the MV female lead that A-Jing invited, right?"
"It's me."
"When are you coming for your audition?" Fang Ming asked with a smile.
"It's like this, Brother Fang." Ye Qingning considered for a moment, "I don't have time to participate in the filming right now, but I can recommend my good friend to audition. She's also a film school student. I've seen our recruitment requirements, and I think she meets them quite well. Is that okay?"
"You're not coming?" Fang Ming's tone was a little disappointed, but fortunately he was prepared and didn't lose his composure too much.
"If possible, I'll go to the audition with her," Ye Qingning explained.
"Okay, then come on over. How about 10 a.m. tomorrow? I'll be waiting for you at the studio."

“Okay, as long as you come, you’ll have a chance.” Xie Linjing’s voice.
Fang Ming then asked, "Aren't you curious about her name?"
"What's your name?"
Fang Ming smiled: "Ye Qingning."
The door closed, and the assistant remembered the name: Ye Qingning.
She then returned to her office and sent a message: "The female lead for Xie Linjing's MV is named Ye Qingning. She will come for an audition at 10 a.m. tomorrow!"

After hanging up with Fang Ming, Ye Qingning called Jian Yan.
Upon learning that she was hospitalized again, Jian Yan said she would come over soon. Two hours later, she indeed entered the ward carrying a bouquet of flowers.
She was still dressed in a black and white color scheme, a black long skirt paired with a white T-shirt, her long hair casually hanging over her shoulders, and her eyes as dim as ever.
However, Ye Qingning was still very happy to see her come in: "Jian Yan, you're here."
"Why are you sick again?" Jian Yan said helplessly, "It seems like your body is weaker than mine."
Ye Qingning smiled and asked Xiao Cui to wash the fruit, while inviting her to sit down: "I easily catch a cold when it rains."
Jian Yan sat down in the chair and said, "That's true. People who are afraid of thunderstorms are indeed more likely to get sick on rainy days."
Ye Qingning nodded in deep agreement.
Jianyan glanced around and spotted the book about performing arts in her hand.
"By the way, the last time I ran into you was at the film academy. I haven't asked you yet, are you also a student at the film academy?"
Ye Qingning explained with a smile, "It wasn't like that before, but I enrolled in a continuing education training course, and soon we'll be alumni."
Jian Yan nodded: "So you like acting."
"Don't you like it?" Ye Qingning asked back.
