Three meters away from the flower stand was a flower screen. Lin Feiyan snapped his fingers, and two waiters came out from behind the screen to serve the two appetizers.
"Would you like some red wine?" Lin Feiyan asked.
"I can't hold my liquor." Ye Qingning shook her head. "Let's not drink anymore."
“It’s just the two of us,” Lin Feiyan emphasized. “Besides, this is your house.”
Ye Qingning chuckled: "Then I'll have a little drink with you, but not too much, I get drunk very easily."
"If you're drunk, just get some sleep. What's there to be afraid of?" Lin Feiyan said casually as he poured her a drink.
"That won't do." Ye Qingning subconsciously covered her chest. "I'm afraid someone will take advantage of me."
Lin Feiyan looked up at her: "Even so, I am only fulfilling my duties as a husband."
Ye Qingning's face flushed red instantly: "You..."
Sensing a hint of panic in her tone, Lin Feiyan's heart sank: "Just don't get drunk."
Ye Qingning nodded: "That's true."
After the appetizers came the main course. Lin Feiyan arranged a menu that combined Chinese and Western dishes, all of which were Ye Qingning's favorites. Each dish was served in small portions, but the presentation was exquisite, making it especially appetizing.
However, given that this was her first time dining in such a formal setting, Ye Qingning maintained her ladylike demeanor, and the two chatted and ate quite comfortably.
The atmosphere was so good that Ye Qingning unknowingly drank more than half a glass of red wine. When she raised her glass again, the man pressed down on her wrist and said, "Drink less, this wine has a strong aftereffect."
