Chapter 20 I'm hungry
"What?"
Ye Qingning had just replied to the boy's message, answering a question about actions, and didn't immediately understand what the man meant.
"I told you to delete that person's WeChat!"
Lin Feiyan suddenly opened his eyes, his deep, dark eyes revealing a chilling light.
Ye Qingning's heart skipped a beat. How did he know she had added someone else on WeChat?
However, seeing the fierce look in the man's eyes, Ye Qingning quickly replied, "Oh, okay."
She took the phone and quickly deleted the boy's WeChat account, showing the phone screen to Lin Feiyan: "Deleted."
Lin Feiyan glanced at it indifferently, then closed his eyes and said, "Hmm."
Sensing the man's coldness, Ye Qingning tried to remain invisible on the return journey, not daring to utter a single word.
The man, who was always in a wheelchair due to his disability, was being skateboarded in front of her; he must have been moved by the sight.

Finally, they returned safely to the familiar battlefield.
Xiao Cui pushed Lin Feiyan through the door, and Ye Qingning didn't linger downstairs. She greeted him and went upstairs.
Watching her retreating figure, Lin Feiyan twirled his fingers and went straight back to his study.
After handling some official business, he received a call from Chen Chu: "Brother Fei, Lin Qi has a quarterly meeting on Friday morning that requires your attendance. Would you like to make time for it?"
Lin Qi was the mall that the Lin family assigned to him to manage. Lin Feiyan had always let it remain in a lukewarm state, but he would still attend the occasional meetings.
Seeing Lin Fei's silence, Chen Chu added, "Both Chairman Lin and Lin Younan will be attending this meeting."
Lin Feiyan sneered, "Then let's go."

Ye Qingning stayed home patiently for several days, preparing Lin Feiyan's favorite dishes for three meals a day, taking meticulous care of him.
But once her passion for skateboarding was rekindled, Ye Qingning especially missed the feeling of freedom and ease she experienced on the board.
So he secretly bought a skateboard online and wandered around the park while Lin Feiyan was away.
That afternoon, Lin Feiyan got off work early and returned to the house, where he saw Ye Qingning playing on a skateboard in the garden.
The sun had not yet set, and the golden sunlight bathed the lush vegetation in the garden, making the whole house seem like a dream.
Ye Qingning was wearing a bright yellow T-shirt and frayed denim shorts, like a light and agile elf, wandering freely among the flowers and plants.
This scene touched and satisfied Lin Feiyan once again. He enjoyed the pleasure of confining her vibrant life within a corner.
Unbeknownst to him, his gaze toward Ye Qingning was like a cold arrow fixed on a prey in the jungle, ready to strike at any moment.
But they let it run wild within the firing range.
Ye Qingning turned around casually and saw Lin Feiyan sitting in a wheelchair on the avenue next to the garden, staring at her with deep eyes.
That unbridled gaze hinted at an impending storm.
A sudden tightness gripped Ye Qingning, and she abruptly stopped her skateboard, raising her hand to greet Lin Feiyan: "Mr. Lin, you're back."
A thin layer of sweat glistened on her forehead in the sunlight. She casually wiped it away with the back of her hand, her eyes sparkling with a bright smile.
She carefully hid the skateboard behind her back.
Lin Feiyan withdrew the spark of interest from his eyes, his expression remaining as aloof and indifferent as ever: "I'm hungry."
