Chapter 392 Extra - About Dreams

Chapter 392 Extra - About Dreams

There weren't many voice-over tasks today, and I finished them in just over an hour.

As Ye Qingning came out of the recording studio, she unexpectedly ran into Xie Linjing, who was talking to Lin Sheng. His features were as gentle and refined as ever.

He caught a glimpse of Ye Qingning out of the corner of his eye, turned his head to look at her, and a gentle smile immediately appeared on his lips.

"Qingning." He raised his hand to greet her, his eyes overflowing with tenderness.

"Hi." Ye Qingning waved back to him, then quickly walked a few steps to the two of them.

Lin Sheng introduced with a smile: "Qing Ning came here today to record a voice-over for a supporting role."

"I heard from Brother Sheng that you have a lot of talent in voice acting?"

"It seems like there's a tiny bit of that," Ye Qingning said without any politeness, a hint of playfulness in her eyes.

The three laughed, just then someone called Lin Sheng, so he went back to his office to get busy.

"What are you here for? To record a video or a song?" Ye Qingning asked curiously.

"Recording a song." Xie Linjing explained, "I composed one of the songs for 'The Bell'. I wrote the lyrics and arranged the music. I came here to record that song."

"Wow~" Ye Qingning's eyes couldn't hide her admiration: "Amazing!"

“It was the movie that inspired it.” Xie Linjing looked at her intently. “You portrayed the bell I had in mind. You were fantastic.”

Ye Qingning laughed: "This is definitely mutual flattery between us."

Xie Linjing smiled with downcast eyes, in a very pleasant mood: "You're not working right now? Want to come to the recording studio?"

Ye Qingning glanced at the time: "Alright, Ayan hasn't come yet, I'll go with you to see her."

She happened to have something she wanted to consult.

Xie Linjing led Ye Qingning down the corridor to the recording studio where she was recording her song, and patiently introduced her to all the equipment and how to use it.

Ye Qingning listened quietly: "There's a difference between this and my recording."

"There are some, but they are all skilled jobs," Xie Linjing said.

Ye Qingning nodded, glanced around the recording studio, and asked casually, "Do you know how much it costs to invest in a recording studio like this?"

"Why are you suddenly asking this?" Xie Linjing looked at her. "Are you planning to pursue a career in music?"

"Music is out of the question... but voice acting is alright." Ye Qingning's eyes lit up with a hint of longing: "I think even if I don't become an actress in the future, being a voice actor would be pretty good."

"With your great potential, how could you not want to be an actress?" Xie Linjing poured her a cup of coffee and handed it to her. "Do you know how many people want to act but don't have the opportunity? Besides, isn't acting your dream?"

Ye Qingning took a sip of coffee and winked playfully, "Dreams can change too. It's all just life anyway, so do whatever makes you happy."

"It's strange." Xie Linjing's gaze deepened as he looked at her. "Sometimes I find you incredibly inspiring, but then there's this inconsistency in your attitude. What kind of person are you, really?"

Ye Qingning looked up at him: "Don't study me, I'm just a legend."

Xie Linjing chuckled: "Alright... if you really have this in mind, I'll ask Lin Sheng and my other friends who do voice acting for you."

"Okay, thank you so much." Ye Qingning bowed to him. "Thank you in advance."

Just then, Lin Feiyan arrived. He was quite puzzled not to see Ye Qingning in the recording studio, and when he ran into Lin Sheng, he asked, "Where's Qingqing?"

"Not in the recording studio?"

"No."

"Oh." Lin Sheng remembered: "Then she's probably at Xie Linjing's recording studio. I just saw the two of them walking that way."
