Early the next morning.
Just as Shu Tong finished her breakfast, Princess Shuyun arrived, bringing with her some news.
Princess Shuyun and the Crown Princess are going to the palace to meet the Empress today, so they probably won't be back until very late.

After seeing Princess Shuyun off, Shutong quickly found Haitang to help her touch up her makeup. Then, she put away the outline of the opening ceremony of the sports meet, which had already been prepared, and sat under the swing set to wait for His Highness the Crown Prince to arrive.
But after waiting for almost a moment, no one came.

Chen Ci tapped her fingertips on the table; she had arrived a little later than expected.
He's quite composed.
He looked up and asked, "Lady Consort, is there anything you need from me?"
Shu Tong smiled and took two steps forward: "I'm here to give Your Highness a handkerchief."
"Oh?" Chen Ci raised his eyelids slightly, then looked down at the handkerchief in Shu Tong's hand before returning to his book. "Isn't it three?"
Shu Tong's eyes darted around: "There's one more thing I'd like to keep as a souvenir..."
Chen Ci nodded: "Put it here."
Shu Tong then neatly placed the handkerchief on one side of the table, and then took two steps back to stand.
Chen Ci flipped through his book for a while, then looked up and saw that Shu Tong was still there. He asked in surprise, "What, is there something else?"
Shu Tong couldn't immediately tell whether His Highness the Crown Prince was intentionally making things difficult for her or simply not planning to take her, but since she was already here...

If he really intended for her to come along, he would probably have accepted the offer.

He stood up and said in a nonchalant tone, "In that case, let's go together."
Shu Tong's eyes lit up, and she smiled sweetly: "Yes, Your Highness, I thank you."
