Chapter 167 Nephew

After finally catching the chicken and bringing it home, they discovered that the marinade they wanted was out of stock, so Lin Zhizhi and Lu Yi went to the village store to buy some, while Zeng Haozhi and the other two stayed at home waiting.

Halfway through the journey, when they passed by a primary school, the two remembered that they had promised to visit the school library, so they decided to just go in and take a look and then come out.

It seems like the primary school is holding some extracurricular activities or something, and many students are playing around on the campus.

Lin Zhizhi noticed a man leaning sideways at the playful students not far from the school gate. Upon closer inspection, she discovered it was Principal Liu.

Lu Yi also saw Principal Liu and couldn't help but wonder if Principal Liu was waiting here specifically for the two of them.

Lu Yi and Lin Zhizhi looked at each other, and they had a tacit understanding as husband and wife. It was better to have less trouble than more, so they decided to go home and eat chicken.

Just as Lu Yi and Lin Zhizhi were about to turn around and walk back, they heard a loud shout coming from the students who were having fun.

"My eldest nephew!?"

Lin Zhizhi didn't feel anything at first. She just thought that the kid had a good voice and it would be a shame not to make good use of it. Then she thought, oh no, Principal Liu must have come to see it.

Sure enough, Principal Liu looked towards the school gate when he heard the sound and saw Lin Zhizhi and Lu Yi at a glance.

But he put on a smile and took two steps towards the two of them when he found that something seemed to pass by him.

When he looked at Lin Zhizhi and Lu Yi again, he found that there was a boy standing in front of them, who seemed to be a student from his school.

Lin Zhizhi looked at the little boy who slipped up to her like a firecracker, her eyes slightly widened in surprise.

This little boy not only has a great voice, but also extraordinary foot speed. If he were to practice sports, he might be able to break the existing record.

But this is not the most important thing now. Lin Zhizhi now doubts that she did not hear clearly what the little boy said. Is he sure he is serious? !

This little boy is actually Li Zhenghao, the late-born son of Lu Yi’s grandmother’s sister. On the day Lu Yi and Lin Zhizhi came back, Li Zhenghao was sick, so he was not allowed to come with to see his eldest nephew and his wife.

Later, when Lin Zhizhi and Lu Yi went to give gifts to their close relatives, Li Zhenghao had gone to school, so he did not see them. This also led to Lin Zhizhi finding out now that Lu Yi has an uncle who is an elementary school student.

Although Li Zhenghao is young, he is of a higher generation.

Little boy Li Zhenghao actually likes his nephew Lu Yi very much. Although Lu Yi is older than him, doesn't like to play with him and never calls him uncle, he thinks Lu Yi is not only tall but also cool, and he wants to be like him when he grows up.

Every time Li Zhenghao thought of how capable his nephew was, he forgave Lu Yi's unfilial behavior.

Li Zhenghao had already known from his mother that Lu Yi had returned, and that he had brought back a very beautiful wife. He also saw photos of the two of them on his mobile phone, as well as a group photo of the whole family that day.

So as soon as Li Zhenghao saw Lin Zhizhi, he recognized who Lin Zhizhi was.

"Nephew, are you here to see me?" Li Zhenghao looked up at Lu Yi happily.

When Lu Yi heard this name, he frowned and whispered, "Have you forgotten what you promised me? Do you still want to go?"

Li Zhenghao immediately covered his mouth and shook his head vigorously, saying that he was wrong. "I'm sorry, I promise I won't tell you anymore. You promised me, you can't lie to me."

"As long as you do it, I won't lie to you." Lu Yi looked down at the little brat uncle in front of him and said slowly.

After receiving the assurance, Li Zhenghao immediately changed his tone, "Brother!"

"Okay, be good." Lu Yi responded straightforwardly.

Lin Zhizhi just watched silently as Lu Yi asked his uncle to call her brother.

Lu Yi noticed Lin Zhizhi's gaze, put his arm around Lin Zhizhi's waist, and was obviously in a very good mood. He smiled and said, "Be good, I'll tell you when I get back."

Then he looked at Li Zhenghao again, raised his chin slightly and pointed at Lin Zhizhi, signaling Li Zhenghao, "Don't you want to call anyone?"

Little Li Zhenghao looked at Lin Zhizhi, then at Lu Yi, and then obediently called out to Lin Zhizhi, "Hello, sister-in-law."

Lu Yi was very satisfied with Li Zhenghao's performance. He nodded and said to Lin Zhizhi, "Family members usually call him Haohao. You can just follow his example."

Lin Zhizhi was speechless for a moment when looking at little Li Zhenghao.

But it was obvious that the little man Li Zhenghao had an opinion, "I'm already in the sixth grade, I'm not a kid anymore, I can't call you Haohao anymore, sister-in-law, you should call me by my full name, Li Zhenghao!"

Lin Zhizhi looked at the child in front of her who was trying hard to say that he was no longer a child, and was amused instead. She controlled her laughter and responded, saying that she believed he was a man.
