Chapter 18 A Thief Breaks In

After Lin Zhizhi got home, she wanted to change into pajamas, enjoy the luxurious bed, and then fall into a sweet dream.

But as soon as she opened the door, she saw a middle-aged woman standing at the entrance. The moment the door opened, Lin Zhizhi seemed to see that she seemed a little flustered.

This middle-aged woman was the nanny hired by the original owner. Her surname was Yang, so she was generally called Aunt Yang.

Aunt Yang is mainly responsible for three meals a day and daily cleaning. Since the original owner would go out traveling or eat out from time to time, Aunt Yang's job is actually very easy and her monthly salary is very generous.

When Lin Zhizhi just came here, she used the excuse of going out for a trip to give Aunt Yang a holiday, and told her that she would notify her to come back to work when she returned.

Lin Zhizhi is not used to living under the same roof with strangers, but Aunt Yang has not done anything wrong, so she cannot fire her. She can only contact the nanny company to explain her requirements and ask them to provide Aunt Yang with a dormitory. Aunt Yang only needs to come to clean the house regularly.

Of course the salary remains the same as before.

"Miss, why did you come back suddenly? Didn't you go traveling?" Aunt Yang's tone was a little flustered, and her hands unconsciously clutched the corners of her clothes.

When Lin Zhizhi heard this, she frowned slightly, "Shouldn't I come back?"

"No, no, that's not what I meant. I wanted to ask why you didn't call me when you came back so that I could prepare some delicious food," Aunt Yang quickly shook her head in denial.

After Lin Zhizhi changed her shoes, she walked towards the living room and asked Aunt Yang, "Aunt Yang, why are you here? Didn't I give you a day off?"

Aunt Yang followed behind Lin Zhizhi and explained, "Oh, it's like this. I just thought that I had been on vacation for a long time, and you didn't call me to come back. I didn't feel at ease staying at home, so I came back."

Lin Zhizhi sat on the sofa and put her bag aside. Hearing this, she felt a little guilty.

I was doing a good job, but as soon as I arrived, I was asked to go home for vacation. After staying at home for a long time, I couldn't help but have all kinds of thoughts and worry that I was fired.

Lin Zhizhi was about to say something comforting when Aunt Yang suddenly suggested going to the kitchen to pour her a glass of water. Before Lin Zhizhi could stop her, Aunt Yang quickly walked towards the kitchen.

Lin Zhizhi reluctantly withdrew her gaze, leaned back on the sofa, and casually cast her eyes on the coffee table in front of the sofa. Suddenly, she found that there were obviously fewer snacks on the coffee table.

Lin Zhizhi bought these snacks herself when she drove to the supermarket last night. She especially bought various brands of sour plums. Before going to bed last night, Lin Zhizhi clearly remembered that she bought three packs of Liangji sour plums in total, ate two packs, and opened the remaining pack herself.

Now that last pack is gone, and there are obviously fewer other snacks in the little mouth.

There are only two people in the family now. If we don’t eat it ourselves, then it can only be Aunt Yang.

Lin Zhizhi thought about how Aunt Yang looked a little flustered when she just entered the door. Lin Zhizhi thought she was overthinking it at first.

Lin Zhizhi hadn't figured out how to deal with the matter yet, so she wanted to go upstairs to change into pajamas first. As soon as she picked up the bag, she found some potato chip crumbs under the bag, and some were stuck to the bag.

Lin Zhizhi suddenly felt unwell.

It would be fine if he ate his owner's food without saying hello, but he also made a mess everywhere. Lin Zhizhi simply couldn't tolerate it.

Lin Zhizhi felt that Aunt Yang must have eaten while sitting or lying on the sofa, so there was a high possibility that there were crumbs where she was sitting.

Lin Zhizhi shuddered and quickly went upstairs to her room to take a shower and change clothes.

but

As soon as Lin Zhizhi entered the room and walked to the dressing table, she discovered that the various bottles and jars of skin care products and cosmetics she had placed on the table had obviously been touched.

You should know that Lin Zhizhi has a mild obsessive-compulsive disorder. Every bottle and jar has a certain placement order and area. For example, lipsticks are placed at the front according to the latest color number. Although the lipsticks are now neatly arranged, the order is obviously wrong for several of them.
