Chapter 440 A World for Two

Both sides said goodbye.

Jiang Li hooked his arm around Wei Tang and walked out.

"Mom invited me to dinner and asked me to wait for you. Where's your sense of time?"

Pei Su heard Jiang Li, who had not gone far, complaining in a coquettish manner.

Then his teacher replied with a smile: "Okay, okay, it's my fault. I'll apologize to the teacher. I'll treat you today."

"It's Mom's treat anyway. Dad's pension is in your hands, right? As your youngest and most beloved daughter, how about we split it between us?"

Upon hearing this, Pei Su smiled and watched the two people walk further and further away.

There are many restaurants in front of the school.

Along the way, Wei Tang told her which restaurants she could eat at frequently, which restaurants she should eat at less frequently, and which restaurants she should not eat at at all.

Jiang Li looked at his mother in surprise.

"Dear mother, your precious daughter has graduated for many years and rarely comes to eat. Why are you telling me this now?"

Wei Tang couldn't help laughing.

"I just said it casually. It's okay to eat less."

**

It's raining!

Si Ming stood by the window, watching the rain covering the Jiang family's land.

Between the green bricks and the verdant scenery, under the shade of the rain, it is as beautiful as a painting.

I took out my cell phone and sent a message to the company, saying I would not be going to work today.

Last night, Jiang Li looked at the weather on his phone and told him that if it rained today they would go camping, otherwise they would do it another day.

Unexpectedly, the weather forecast was accurate.

And this time the rain will probably last for three or four days.

I sent a message to Director Jiang, but there was no response.

I can probably guess...

When I looked out of the window, I saw a slender figure practicing martial arts in the rain in the training ground.

A long spear, wielded with great power and murderous intent in her hands.

Si Ming frowned.

He turned around, grabbed his coat, put it on, and went out and down the stairs.

Follow the corridor to the martial arts field.

Si Ming opened his umbrella and walked forward.

"We still need to practice in the rain?"

Jiang Li did not answer, but continued to perform his moves.

Si Ming did not pretend to throw away the umbrella and accompany her in the shower. Instead, he stood beside her holding the umbrella and watched and accompanied her.

After about twenty minutes, Jiang Li swung the spear casually, and it landed steadily and accurately on the weapon rack.

She walked to his side with a slight breath and stood under the umbrella.

"It's normal, just raining. I'm used to it since I was a child."

Jiang Li beckoned him back to the house, "It's not like this every time, I just suddenly want to get wet in the rain."

After entering the house, Jiang Li said, "Please pack up your camping stuff first. I'll go back to the room to wash up."

An hour later, the two drove out of the house.

We decided to camp at the last minute, so many things are not prepared yet.

Si Ming drove the two of them to a special store and purchased a lot of things, including a "two-bedroom" inflatable tent.

It wasn't an early start, as we arrived at the campsite around noon, and the rain never stopped.

There are quite a few "neurotics" like these two.

When we came over, there were already several tents set up here.

There are deluxe versions and simple versions.

The two of them wore umbrellas, found a relatively spacious place, and started tinkering.

The inflatable tent was opened, Si Ming went to a service store not far away to purchase necessities, while Jiang Li was sorting it out inside.

Inflatable beds, inflatable sofas, and comfortable bedding.

Considering her previous expectation of a "good sleep", it was probably unlikely.

Only enough for one level of sleep.

When Si Ming came back, he saw Jiang Li inside, lying on an inflatable bed, listening to the sound of rain outside.

He didn't go in to disturb them and was preparing lunch outside.

When camping, food is naturally much simpler.

A "sizzling" sound was heard, and Jiang Li's lazy voice came.

"What did you do?"

Si Ming glanced back at her and said with a smile, "I exchanged the handmade shrimp dumplings with Aunt Agui. I'll fry them over here and we'll have fried dumplings for lunch."

Hearing about this dish, Jiang Li stood up and walked over in slippers.

"It's Aunt Gui's craftsmanship. Her dumpling-making skills are among the best in the Jiang family, especially the fillings. They taste delicious no matter how you make them."

Looking at the plump white dumplings, Jiang Li felt a little hungry.

"Don't bring much, I'm hungry."

Si Ming chuckled, "It's definitely enough. I brought sixty."

Jiang Li can eat about thirty of them by himself, and his appetite is about the same as Si Ming.

Dinner was a portable hot pot. The ingredients were all kept in a constant temperature box. It was a set bought from a special hot pot ingredient store.

The tent was not enclosed.

The two of them were in this "living room" outside, leaning on the table, enjoying the rain, looking at the lake in the distance and the lush greenery while eating lunch.

"This is my first time camping." Si Ming said.

Jiang Li nodded, "I'm not. My brother took me camping in many places when I was a kid."

Her childhood can be said to be two extremes from Si Ming's.

There is no such thing as childhood healing a lifetime, or a lifetime healing a childhood.

For Jiang Li, his childhood was happy, and he is still happy now.

There is no need to use one stage to heal another.

"Aren't you going to contact them?" Jiang Li knew Si Ming's situation and had told her about it before.

Si Ming said: "It's better for both her and me if we don't keep in touch."

If they contact each other, there will always be complaints between them.

At least Si Ming couldn't be so magnanimous as to endure the pain in his heart and forgive someone. He couldn't do it.

Even if that person is your biological mother.

“In this world, there are very few people who can have a childhood without regrets.”

Although Jiang Li in front of him is one of them.

"Jiang Li."

"Um?"
