"When will Wan'er and the others come back?"
Baili Xijiang sighed, "Sigh, I wonder if things will go smoothly for them."
Wan Qiji and Shen Zhuochuan sat on either side, their expressions calm and composed, showing none of the anxiety that the two men were displaying.
As the family drew closer, suddenly, weapons appeared in the hands of Shen Zhuochuan and Wan Qiji, which they hurled at them.
The two people in the middle who were idling were startled and quickly jumped up to hide to the side.
They're bad at the game, so they'd better stay away first.
The giant sword and spear were blocked by Li Guang.
Song Siyao tore off the invisibility talisman and appeared. Behind her, Song Chaoxuan and Song Tingwan smiled at them after removing their talismans.
"What, are you trying to murder us?"
Song Tingwan walked out from behind and teased Shen Zhuochuan.
Shen Zhuochuan coughed twice and put away his spear. "Are you thirsty? I'll get you some water."
Wan Qiji awkwardly wrapped the giant sword again and apologized to Song Siyao, "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you."
Song Siyao raised an eyebrow and nodded at him, clearly not blaming him.
Song Chaoxuan clicked his tongue inwardly as he observed their reactions.
In the past century, we've missed out on so much.
He chuckled as he sat down, and Shen Zhuochuan poured tea and placed it beside him, saying, "Uncle, please have some tea."
Song Chaoxuan glanced at him amusedly, then deliberately put on a stern face, "In my house, invite me for tea."
The others were stunned for a moment, then watched the commotion. Only Baili Xijiang, that big idiot, was so anxious that he scratched his head and cheeks, as if he wanted to interrupt and ease the atmosphere. Then Qin Xi pulled him and covered his mouth.
Shen Zhuochuan, however, remained unfazed.
"It is a courtesy of the junior to show respect for everything the senior has done."
This time, Song Chaoxuan smiled and accepted the teacup he was offered. "That's a good reason."
Shen Zhuochuan smiled with a deep gaze, “These are words from the bottom of my heart.”
While they were getting along well, Wan Qiji watched Song Siyao sit down, then thought for a moment and brought a plate of pastries to her, asking, "Ayao, are you hungry?"
After Song Siyao shook his head, Wan Qiji pondered for a moment, then mustered his courage and presented the dish to Song Chaoxuan.
"Uncle, are you hungry? Would you like a piece of pastry?"
Everyone was surprised.
Is this something Aji would do?
Baili Xijiang and Qin Xi whispered to each other, glancing here and there.
At this moment, the seating arrangement is as follows: Song Chaoxuan is in the main seat, with A Yao and Wan Qiji on his left, and A Wan and Shen Zhuochuan on his right.
Sitting opposite Song Chaoxuan were two people whispering and gossiping.
Song Chaoxuan thought to himself, why should he eat pastries first instead of this table of fragrant food?
But Wanqiji is an honest child.
It's rare for me to take the initiative like this.
He couldn't bear to refuse.
The old father smiled and nodded, then took a piece of pastry and nibbled on it.
Song Tingwan suppressed a laugh and waited until her father had almost finished eating the pastries before speaking, "Shall we...start eating?"
"Great! Uncle, try what we bought and see if it suits your taste."
Qin Xi looked expectantly at Song Chaoxuan. The dishes on the table were the result of the four of them talking at once and struggling to choose from a pile of delicious food.
Everyone at the table, including the Song Tingwan sisters, looked at Song Chaoxuan expectantly.
Facing the gazes of the younger generation at the table, Song Chaoxuan felt a warmth in his heart. He lowered his eyes and smiled gently, picking up his chopsticks and slowly savoring the food.
How fortunate I am to be alive again.
Now, in his eyes, the wind and rain are gentle, and everything in the world pleases him. Even these younger generations are incredibly adorable.
Especially his two beloved daughters.
