She was a little drunk.
Under the moonlight, A Yao's eyes, brimming with tears, softened her heart.
Perhaps the strong liquor was too harsh, for seeing her sister like this, she herself felt a lump in her throat.
With her slender fingers tightly gripping Song Siyao's wrist, the woman gently and carefully stroked her face, her voice choked with emotion.
“Indeed, before this I enjoyed flowers and the moon, gathered herbs in the mountains, and slept among the flowers.”
"But more than anything, I wish my loved ones to be safe and sound. I hope my family and friends can live a long, peaceful and joyful life."
"So, none of this matters."
"My sister is coming back. Father, please take good care of yourself. We will go together to see Mother and reunite as a family."
"And my apprentice, lover, and close friends. Let's get together again, get together often, and see each other often."
"I'm so greedy."
But I, Song Tingwan, have always possessed this ability, haven't I?
At some point, Song Chaoxuan, Shen Zhuochuan, and Wan Qiji stopped.
After returning from their laughter and chatter, Baili Xijiang and Qin Xi quieted down and silently stopped behind Song Tingwan.
Song Siyao held her slightly cool fingertips, looking intently at her older sister's sad yet proud appearance, "I'm not greedy, my older sister deserves it."
The two, who had been laughing and joking, turned and went back silently.
The three continued drinking.
Dressed in gorgeous clothes and adorned with golden hairpins, Song Tingwan leaned on her sister's shoulder, sipping strong liquor, gazing at the crowd below the long table, and also staring blankly at the full moon in the sky.
She was drunk.
As if all the people she trusted were by her side, she wanted to vent all her deeply buried emotions. Her red lips curved into a captivating smile as she rambled on and on.
"Ah Yao, don't always have such a long face, you're corrupting Ah Ji."
"Big sister loves our Ah Yao the most. Don't be afraid. Big sister will always protect you until you get tired of big sister and don't want big sister anymore."
"I feel that her face is a bit rough. She must have been exhausted in Xingyuan. I don't have time for those big shots who asked me to refine pills. I need to refine beauty pills for my darling Ayao."
"And another thing, you two spar every day, breaking and damaging a ton of things. I've secretly lost a lot of spirit stones from Wenjian Sect to Yunyin Sect."
"And Ah Ji, you've become the Demon Lord now, that's true, but you've emptied the Demon Clan's treasure trove and divided it among us, you idiot."
“Yuanyuan is the same. She always has to maintain a composed appearance in front of outsiders, which is tiring to watch. She is always making all kinds of magical jewelry for me. I am covered in them myself, but you don’t have many pieces yourself.”
"My apprentice is even more so; he's a bit dim-witted. He does whatever I tell him to do, and he's not afraid that I'll lie to him."
"What dragon? It's clearly a stupid little dog."
"Your uncle isn't much better, you two idiots."
"Chen Zhuochuan...the biggest idiot of all."
As she muttered to herself, Song Tingwan had a smile that she couldn't shake off, but her eyes were already closed, and she was leaning on Song Siyao's shoulder, feeling drowsy.
Her voice was soft and sweet as she murmured, "But I love you all so much..."
"I can't bear to see the world destroyed."
"I'll miss you all even more."
Before Song Tingwan lost her faint consciousness, she felt several familiar presences approaching, which made her feel at ease without any warning.
He fell asleep instantly.
A crowd surrounded her.
I have never seen Song Tingwan so open about herself.
Baili Xijiang squatted at his master's feet, resting his head on his hands, wanting to cry and laugh at the same time: "When my master called me, his tone was obviously very proud."
"You're a puppy, right? I'll stop being a dragon and become a puppy instead."
He had just finished making his bold statement when Shen Zhuochuan tapped him on the head.
The man smiled, pursing his lips. "You can save those words for when you get back to your parents."
Baili Xijiang shrank back.
He certainly wouldn't dare.
Qin Xi looked like she was about to cry, and she sniffled, moved.
Wanqiji laughed, "Actually, I had the demon continue collecting treasures, and we've amassed half a treasure vault."
It hasn't been delivered yet.
Shen Zhuochuan smiled gently as he looked at the woman sleeping soundly, his expression filled with silent affection.
"Should I carry Wan'er back to her room first?"
The man leaned down, but Song Siyao, who was holding his older sister, shot him a glare.
Song Chaoxuan, who had been chuckling to himself with his hands behind his back, turned serious upon hearing this. "You little rascal, you're not even going to act in front of me."
Qin Xi tilted her head and squatted down, looking at Uncle Song, and whispered to Baili Xijiang beside her.
"Both Uncle Song and Wan'er are quite different when they're drunk."
"Hehe, I think it's great."
Baili Xijiang couldn't explain it, but he could tell that his master was very happy and relaxed when he said those things.
"Yes, it's a pity we have to part again." Qin Xi sighed with emotion and reluctance.
She doesn't like parting.
I dislike parting with my closest friends even more.
Baili Xijiang covered his head, "I can't hear you, I can't hear you, I can't hear you."
When it comes to this matter, Baili Xijiang is the one who finds it the most unacceptable.
He felt particularly distressed because he couldn't stay with his master.
The two squatted together, whispering to each other in worry.
Over there, after Song Chaoxuan spoke, Shen Zhuochuan regretfully withdrew his hand.
He rarely saw Wan'er like this.
It's both heart-melting and wildly exciting.
I really want to hug her.
Unfortunately, with a sister who wouldn't let go and a father who was eyeing him covetously, without the confidence Wan'er gave him, he could only give up with regret.
Wan Qiji patted his shoulder, raised his glass, and asked, "Want to keep drinking?"
Shen Zhuochuan could only nod, and then politely asked Song Chaoxuan, "Uncle, would you like to continue?"
Song Chaoxuan chuckled and waved his hand, his vision already blurry. "You guys drink, I'll take a walk around."
